Yes, same here too. Although I put that down to just very good luck more than anything else. Such is the nature of the RNG gods.
Solving “The Endmire” quest did wonders!
Suddenly, people all over the place start getting the mount after a few more kills, “despite” having an overall kill count beyond 1000.
Might not be the only culprit there, but it really appears to have been a major roadblock for a lot of players farming for the Loyal Gorger mount.

Well, 146 attempts later it dropped, just 6 attempts after completing ‘The Endmire’ on my two characters I farm it on. Real shame people spent potentially 100s of hours farming the anima lure and the rare for nothing.
