There is so much wrong with scaling

In BGs you lump in all level brackets below 60 because noone plays this game anymore so you have these inflated hp numbers but your healing and damage still show your actual healing and damage. Noone looking at this will be able to make any sense of it. It’s just unrelatable numbers seemingly pulled out of a hat. Not to mention the difference in access to abilities. There is nothing logical about this system and this is as far from an RPG as you can get.

Dungeons are broken. So you have a lvl 10 mage out dps a level 50 and the more you level the weaker you get. At some point you won’t even be able to complete dungeons because mobs hit too hard and healers can’t keep up the more levels they gain. Even if we put aside the utter disregard for the sense of progression you need to fix the numbers because it’s simply impossible to beat these dungeons at the moment. If i was new to the game i would quit right there.

Your entire scaling system needs to go. There is no sense of progression left in the game. The items you get don’t matter and you never ever get any enjoyment out of gaining a level because everything arround you also gains a level and becomes stronger than you, wow. Mobs have a better time in wow than players.

There is a very elegant solution to all of this though. Revert all numbers back to BC since it was level 70 as well. Any old expantions stop at 60. Solo raids and dungeons are optionally demoted to level 10. That’s it, no need for number crunching or complicated algorithms that break the game.

Give us back level brackets and remove all scaling from dungeons so they will be played in order again. These dungeons were made with progression in mind from low fantasy to high stakes.

New players need to start in original wow content. These new areas all feel desperate to grab the players attention with high stakes from the get go, i.e. fighting a dragon at level 10. There is nowhere to go from there.

And finally my personal request: Start working on WoW 2. Everyone enjoys a fresh start without all of the past story bagage.

The current system is not working. It is not enjoyable, it is not an rpg.

I also hate scaling. It is so much better in Classic.

Provided I can port across my pets, mounts, mogs etc I am cool with it. If not, you’ll a very large portion of the playerbase.
