I m not sure i should drop this here but i would like to know if there are other people experiencing the same issue.
I m a mount collector. I know that low droprates come with the territory when you go into collecting mounts. But i cant help but wonder if there is a bug after trying to get the drop from Worldedge Gorger for more than 1100 times. I tried everything to make sure there is no mistake here. Took multiple times my chars to endmire to see if the npc spawns. Had a gm check the characters and confirm i have never looted it. Even the Rarity addon lists it as not collected( the drop from gorger not the mount).
Is this a normal occurence? Are there other people like me out there sharing similar experience ? Cause according to wowhead this is 6% and i ve seen A LOT of people get it.
I m about to drop farming it cause this takes a lot of my wow time per day and it got to the point of fatigue.
The wowhead drop chances aren’t entirely accurate, since they only take into account the drops of those who have an account on wowhead with a linked character on it.
It may just be bad luck, just like with anything that has a low drop chance. My raid lead has been playing since WOTLK, and has been farming Siege of Orgrimmar for the shoulders every since it was soloable (plus progressed through it) and only recently did he get it.
It took me three months of doing Bubbleblood on three characters to get the backpack mog, while my brother got it on his first dozen attempts. I got the Gorger quest item the first time I killed him. It is sadly all RNG, and there is a chance you may never end up getting it.
I wish it was another rare…the fact that i have to farm the enticing anima on many chars is way too time consuming. And the way they designed it to disappear from your bags is just bad design imho.
