As the title says, there should be an option to skip the 8.3 intro in it’s entirety so that we just get the rewards we were meant to get and the cloak. Nazjatar’s intro wasn’t too bad because it’s just us doing a couple of things in a single zone, but 8.3 sends us all over the world, and while half of the lengthier portions of the quest are skippable the Wrathion portion still isn’t. I’ve done the scenario twice, I don’t care about doing it a third time but sadly I HAVE to, because the corruption system impacts your character from the off when it dings 120.
I need to engage with the 8.3 content in order to wear half the gear I’m getting and even then I can’t use half of it until I start grinding corruption resistance on my cloaks. I have dozens of alts at 120 at this point, am I meant to go through this song and dance with ALL of them? Where’s the account wide catch up mechanic? Where’s the option to not be railroaded through the same 1-2 hour long intro quest that gets more and more boring with every alt I have to take through it?
Ive given up its like Argus all over again . I cant even do more than one cloak in visions i hate them . Doing them as resto shaman and solo as i can not play elemental is soul destroying.
Most annoying thing is they must have had this planned for a long time and they still removed the portals to the shrines i just cant understand there thought process.
counts on fingers 4… + 4… 1 + 14… thats how many times I did that intro. And I am not sure in what point I felt that I no longer can do even assaults again on alts. Some my alts did cloaks to get ilevel boost for the one and only time alliance had weapon emissary in 8.3.
I swear i did see Magni in my dreams at that day.
Most annoying thing at the end ended up being the need to fill the assault bar. Rest were actually quite ok. Did also eventually get tired of wrathion.
