Same problem with Item restoration. I keep getting:
Something went wrong on our end
An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later.
Error code:4ded83ee-1880-42ac-a53e-d6c0a5e95d6e
Same issue here attempting to restore very old characters that have been deleted for several expansions.

Morning.
Just wanted to let you know as of this morning, my Priest was able to be restored! 06:40 am.
Unsure what you guys changed or if you found a solution.
But its restored.

A fix was indeed applied during the maintenance, which should hopefully allow all characters to be restored without any issue. Appreciate everyone confirming that it seems to be working now! 
If someone does encounter this error still, after the maintenance, please let us know.

If anyone else also encounters this error, please do provide:
- Name and server of the character that you can’t restore
- Approximate time / date when you tried to restore the character and received this error
It worked for me for both my problematic characters, thanks!
