Agreed, but whats different with cata and wotlk, they destroyed/ revamped old world. Every single association with nostalgia “poof” gone, butchered.
Professions became less relevant. In retail you dont get a talent anymore every level, so it feels less rewarding. Basic spells gone like renew for priests only for holy spec (applies for all classes).
Old zones become irrelevant/ dead because of new island zones, destroying “one world immersion”.
Bfa felt like a single player, i rarely died on mobs till lvl 110 and didnt had to group to survive/ contest mobs enemy players. Shadowlands felt lineair and had 4k gold on lvl 40… no gold management.
And for storytimeline i think they should have never gone to “universe” but just stay in the world with humans and orcs.
RDF, flying mounts and bg’s killed pvp in open world. Trainers are in every city, so you dont have to travel anymore.
Every extra added convenience slowly ruined wow retail.
(Dont get me wrong i love the new raids in retail and think aesthetic wise they do a good job).
I agree with you 100% except for when you mention that a challenge was there? Maybe when we were 10-13 years old, but wotlk might have the easiest and most accessible raiding ever. And I for one enjoy that more than wiping 150 times per mythic boss.

Also in my opinion as a PvP and tip in PvE Player wotlk after playing it for me is on par with MoP in terms of how much fun i have playing the game.

Just don’t comment or reply then, these are feedback forums despite the fact no one at blizzard cares. Misusing the reporting function is not appropriate or ok just because there’s no dislike button.

well how you want to show disagreement then? I mean its Blizzards dumb decition to remove the dislike for some reason, it was to be expected that flaging posts will be abused like that^^
I dont do it myself but i understand why it happens.
Wrath was an enjoyable experience at the time, but if I could pick, I would do MoP all over again. Best PvP, best class balance, best class design.

It’s nothing new, this is the general concensus on forum now, just try to make everything disappear you don’t agree with.
This tendency comes from a certain weak minded persona, and they know how to (ab)use the system to blot out anything they disagree with.
And the best part is that Blizzard or it’s moderators do not intervene unless it either:
a) spirals out of control.
b) might actually cost them money if they do not intervene on time.
c) is modded by a moderator that (ab)uses it’s power to uphold it’s political view(s).
For that matter forum here is just like twitter is now, only for the people that nod yes to everything, either an extremist or scared to be banned (read: cancelled) for nothing.

If You really feel the need to “show” Your disagreement, then simply reply with “I disagree”. You can even give some reasoning explaining why do You disagree.
It should be noted that reporting a post is private, not public, so noone sees that it is You who disagrees. You are not “showing” Your disagreement.
Abusing the report system should be treated as harassment on itself and result in some form of penalty.

they should just add the like and dislike buttons again, there is litterly no reason to have it removed.

I’d say that having no such buttons actually promotes discussion. To take a stance on something you need to voice Your opinion instead of just clicking a button.

Hard to say it’s “best”. For younger me, yeah, but currently it’s just raid log for me.
I definitely love WotLK healing. Mana isn’t THAT issue, spells are fast, damage income is fast, healing is strong, no stupid raid cooldowns. I’m currently spamming Reju/WG on my druid and I’m way more happy than using retailish Reju/WG/CW/Lb/Convoke/Flourish…
Considered the best expansion by who? How are people this dumb.
I mean you are entitled to your opinion, but I wouldn’t say it’s dumb to think wrath was the best. What would you consider the best?
