Venruki made a video about this earlier and i think this also happens in lower mmr games, mid 2k MMR range in shuffle. Shuffle is fast paced type of death match and i believe we are having most cheaters in the game than ever. None wants to really step forward and admit : Yeah because time is really important, i don’t have time to waste so why not? It’s like an pro athlete taking doping.

“If” statement macros shouldn’t work - period ,PVE or PVP
It’s bad enough that you have so much junk and clutter on most UIs to get all the information
It’s like managing a live changing spreadsheet ffs

big reason why i wanted retail because im tired of blatant botting on those privas but now its the same on retail and if shuffle continues as the main attraction it will continue just aswell like it did for priva soloqs rampant
i guess this is the type of brachet and gameplay that attracts these type of ppl most as it never was this big of an issue in normal arena in sl

Only that Jaime is one of the abusers and appaerently even used said macro during the AWC.
Many AWC players are using AHK and other software to automate/script their rotation and for even shadier stuff.
After all the talk in recent days, I started looking further into it because so far I was unaware of the extent to which AHK could be used, I thought it’s only for rebinding keys, so you don’t accidently tab out of games, etc. but now I think Blizzard is kinda loosing the arms race and we just have to get used to people being able to abuse stuff like that in games. I think at this point they kinda have to design classes around people being able to abuse this software, like they have to design raid encounters around addons and weakauras.
They need to completely redesign ele and make it not be this rng lava lava spec, so it’s not bottable cause rn whoever uses his procs best is doing the highest dps and obviously a machine will use the procs faster than any human, while also not wasting any.
thats a big no, its not even close to WA , WA works the same for pvp as it is for pve, you have enough addons and WA for pvp.
blizzard should make using AHK violate their ToS, thats known since the MMORPG games were out that AHK softwares are abusing the stuff it can do to benefit in game, even in MU Online, Lineage 2, Silkroad, etc…
there is no way in the world blizzard didnt know that jaime didnt use it in AWC, and if they didnt someone should look very deep into what they are doing there.
this functions should be unusable and AHK should be bannable.

my opinion is a long ban for anyone that abused it.
After it is clearly iterated it is against ToS, anyone that tries to circumvent - perma ban including IP forcing VPN
Make account verification even more thorough so it’s hard to just continually set up accounts. This also could assist in tackling the bot issue
Won’t happen though no doubt. Blizzard just looove money a bit too much

thing what one guy also from warmane once said when we was talking about botting and cheating in retail that how it is weird how all the top awc players and else can maintain such high win % or compete through so many known botters if theyre not using anything of their own aswell
Ive always been told and thought these things were bannable since its a third party software. It makes sense considering how some have been quite “flawless” in their rotations. But thats also part of “sequence” macros for burst setups.
Lets just wait and see how long it will take for blizz to explain about them. They already said they are looking into it, but lets see if they will go out and say “AHK and more softwares are perfectly legit” and that the macro is questionable. You would prob see an even bigger rise in eles if so 
I just dislike the feeling of needing to use something to be “competing” with others of the same spec.
people have been using 3rd party software to do macros and autohotkeying for ages, basically anyone who owns razer product can do it, it shows how little you have been involved in pvp if you havent realised it yet
and without making this an youtube reactional video and unrelevant for pvp ill just say its cheating as it automates the game to a degree but so far it has been used by many people for years freely without blizzard intervene on it

It does violate their ToS, but that does not mean they can put an end to it.
I’ll give you an example: Both Razer & Logitech software come with the ability to write macros, which make ele shaman botable (it’s not a 100% accurate bot, but with a proper setup you can get it to being like 95% accurate). They can detect that people got razer/logitech software running, but they can’t detect how it’s being used, since input is going through the razer/logitech software first, before being send to the blizzard server. What’s the solution to that, ban everyone who is using a razer mouse or keyboard? Not designing classes around this stuff is some fairytale wannabe fantasy, it’s just not realistic nowadays and it’s getting worse. That’s what I meant by saying Blizzard is at an arms race against this stuff and they are loosing.

this, its simply not easy for blizzard to intervene on what people set on their razer or logitech softwares, i could put similar macros on corsair through ICUE or set it do key press on certain interval too
I’m sure blizzard can see exactly the commands used on the client side and what being pressed and they can track it.
i bet with a little effort of their dev team they can find a solution.
in the meanwhile, ban players untill its fixed.

It’s like doping in sports. It’s against the rules, you get banned for being caught, yet everyone does it anyway.

Yes sure, they could implement something that stops you from using any logitech, razer or corsair software, but that’s like idk… 80% of the playerbase?
