50% slow out of 70% is still a lot. Slower casts will reduce the damage and output but still the damage it deals is a difference maker. I’m afraid it still will be opressive. Imo this spec qualify for rework.

Agree cause it doesnt make any difference whether they cast at 0.9sec or 0.7sec speed, the cast time of smite after stacking haste is so fast that they need to nerf the source of dmg from 4set directly instead of cast speed from honor talent.
They needed nerf the 4set vw bonus that enables this heal/dmg with two buttons gameplay of mb+smite. PvP template nerf on vw disc 4set bonus and done. Trinity nerf does nothing and ppl already play without trinity in some modes and their vw is still the most op healer there.
Yup. as the cast time is shorter then global cooldown ofc it wont do any effect

Sadly? Dude this spec is literally dumb
I think it will still work well in “good” void lobby’s (big map, and getting ignored in the background free casting)
On lobby’s that don’t favour Disc it will maybe start too struggle. Hopefully and people drop it once they start having bad lobby’s
Once that happen i am exited too see what healer will people Q (Rsham, Evoker, Holy priest main I gues)
Or if Lontar says so it will be still a 2s spec but won’t have enough througput in 3s
