They are indeed. And I was just getting used to playing Arcane.
It surprises me, when Fire was only buffed a week ago, they feel the need to do it again. Why not just get it right the first time. We all said it wasn’t enough, and tbh, this probably won’t be either.
Will be welcome if they do buff it , but like you I wonder if it will be anywhere near enough.
Muppet devs seem to think the only gave mages play is pvp.
I’m so confused as to how we went from: -

- [With weekly restarts] Ignite damage reduced by 12%.
- [With weekly restarts] Master of Flame now increases Ignite’s damage by 15% (was 18%)…
One week before the expansion launched, to: -

- Flamestrike damage increased by 8%.
- Pyroblast damage increased by 5%.
- Fireball damage increased by 10%.
- Scorch damage increased by 10%.
- Ignite damage increased by 5%.
And

- Pyroblast damage increased by 12%.
- Ignite damage increased by 5%.
- Fire Blast damage increased by 12%.
- Fireball damage increased by 12%.
- Scorch damage increased by 12%.
Within the first 3 weeks.
It’s almost like they don’t have a QA department…
Sadly both specs wont be buffed enough to overtake Arcane in any situation
Frost singletarget and cleave will be way better now but the aoe is unchanged. Seems like they don’t want it to be viable in aoe situations. They are obviously tuning it for raid.
Fire buffs are whatever. The whole playstyle is awful regardless.
Thats what I think about Frost
They can’t make Frost competitive in damage though, they already bring way to much CC to the group. Frontload them with damage and you have an incredible OP swiss army knife.
Na you can say that about a ton of specs, rogues seems like a very good example rn
You should forget this theory about cc in m+. It was a thing in shadowlands for a week then tanks got geared and no one had to kite ever. With current tank power they are stronger than ever before. There is zero need for frost cc.
no one is going to prioritize the slow over triple aoe dps.
I don’t feel like anything really improved after the changes…
Yea still feels like joke dps compared to any other dps running mythic
The buff is hardly noticeable. We still need at least 20% damage buff to be competitive with other dps.
Before the buffs Fire was almost 40% worse than Assa rogue on boss damage. 12/13% is absolutely nothing.
m+ Frost
Unless you can get up two+ orbs, i think ive seen myself be able to have two orbs up at some points where there is enough enemies and my damage would reach acceptable levels, but up to that point the aoe damage isnt competitive, im usually last on dps in aoe just above the tank(some times not). ST seems however pretty good., i cant complain in that compartment, keep in mind i dont raid so cant speak for how frost stands in prolonged boss fights.
Frost still sucks in raids, and mythic+. C tier in mythic+ and C tier in raid. Sometimes i even ask myself why i even play a game where the game designers cannot even balance things on a normal level lol
