Im so satisfied after watching that, obviously we will have to wait until it’s all in the game but man, 90% of our complaints have been adressed now. No more RNG Chest, no more random legendaries, no more useless professions, no more AP grind, finally being able to play alts again, new customisations and more
Too early to tell, they told us what isnt in the game anymore in SL, but they haven’t exactly told us how the things that are there are going to work.
AP grind can be called by many names, and even operate slightly differently. STill feel the same though.
We’ll be grinding anima to craft leggos in no time, I bet.
corrupted system is just as bad if not worse than titanforging
professions will most likely still be useless.
Chests are still RNG, with 6 options
anima power sounds like AP, despite what ion said
LFR still exists
LFD still exists
still 4 tiers of difficulties
Well, they always did listen. Doesn’t mean it always turn out great, but they have listened for as long as I have been on these forums, which would be since 2007 or so. Well, was obviously on the old old forums then, before someone tells me these forums are 1 year old.
still have to wait to see how it actully ends up.
No ap doesnt mean wont be another grind or even worse system introduced.
And no useless proffesions like bfa? or legion? where susposed to do it but only made them worse.
You can target the loot this time, if i run the same dungeon all week long then from my understanding i will probably get the chance to choose from items there.
LFR and LFD aren’t issues, your attitude is.
He literally said it is not the same system as AP, it’s not grinding on end.
Being able to pick what stats i want on my ring as a JC for example is anything but useless.
It has its ups and downs but its not worse than the system that allowed players to skip difficulty levels by giving them higher ilvl gear.
We don’t know anything about that, too early to complain about it.
That’s just sounds like “i don’t want to like it therefore i completely ignore what Ion said just for the sake of complaining”.
Still an irrelevant “issue”, even more irrelevant now that titanforging won’t be a thing. LFR players won’t get normal or higher level gear just by getting lucky, everyone will have to do the same progress if they want good gear. If LFR players only want to see the story, let them, it won’t take anything away from me, that’s for sure.
There’s hype then there’s what I’m feeling now. I’ve never felt like this for a game like ever. I’m so excited, already planning out where I’m going with what and what I’ll do and how I’m gonna use all the new customisations and stuff.
I honestly feel like this year, Blizzcon happened like 2 months too early. A lot of the announcements for Shadowlands sound good, but we have very little - next to nothing, in fact - to really substantiate anything.
Compare the announcements of this year to the Legion blizzcon, where we got all 36 artifacts and outlines of where every spec’s rework was going to go.
