Blizzard not bothering to add -50% armor hidden aura when PvP rules are enabled at level 70
Blizzard reverting some PvP nerfs arbitrarily on some classes instead of reviewing them all in one big PvP pass, then push their half baked balance pass to live which directly leads to…
[UPDATED] Ele, Ret, UDK broken (+ some others to a lesser extent, healers ofc are perfectly balanced )
Note: there are significant nerfs coming for Ele (and some too for Ret) on beta which will be applied to live at an unknown date (hopefully before TWW release). Additionally, they will bring back a PvP nerf to resto druid healing, which was removed just before prepatch.
[CONFIRMED BY BLIZZARD] Shaman earth shield is dispelled per stack instead of fully removed by one dispel, afaik earth shield has no cooldown so this should be fixed asap
Grounding Totem not killed by certain spells (some channeled spells are immuned and evoker redirected Living Flame does not destroy it)
[FIXED] Blitz EOTS for some reason enforces 499 ilvl cap (???) which basically feels like playing a different game (with a different flavor of “broken”)
Speaking of EOTS: annoying camera bug where you get a fullscreen pink mask
Rated blitz ““matchmaking”” creating games with more than 200 average MMR difference between teams
Rated blitz games no longer count for the Dragonflight great vault (contradicting the tooltip)
Rated blitz deserter is not account wide on live, actually it works exactly the same as regular blitz did
I just saw some ppl dueling and the loser just died, is retail hardcore duel to the death coming??
Additionally (not directly related to PvP):
Warband bank features immediately turned off when patch went live with a irrelevant error message given to the player
Currency transfer between characters that fail and make you lose your currency
UI layout issues, such as service announcement text being cropped on the right side of the window.
Glitched animations on some spells (this one is a classic)
Trivia - Did you know it?
“Back” button in some part of the German client was mistranslated to mean the back (of your body)
About the gear.
I’m finally happy that my Plate gear matter.
Sick and tired when some melee is doing the same dmg to cloth user and me Plate user ( materials should metter, hello).
About the dueling and dying Its been since vanilla. No idea why but there is some % chance to die after lose ( which sucks) and ye needs to be fixed.
I agree. Lava burst damage needs to tuned down until they figure out how to balance out the retarded ascendance and DRE procs.
I beleave its intentional. Earth Shield is not free. It’s gives a minor heal (at least on Elemental spec, it’s heals less (quarter) than a warrior passive “fueled by violence” just for example). It’s has a mana cost and not a cheap spell and the real benefit is the healing received buff. Earth/Lightning/Water shield should not be dispellable at all imho (you don’t know how annoying can be to play against priests who press “purge” on every second GCD).
Redirected spells does not destroy the totem. Never worked this way. But you can kill it with any direct damage even with an autoattack.
Rated pvp vault will be removed in TWW. They just did not updated the vault UI
I agree on the rest. Would add one more:
Hunter Explosive Shot not dispellable from target.
The current War Within Pre-expansion patch includes our initial class and spec changes. As you can see in the Beta, there are more changes coming-- changes that we’re adding with the full War Within expansion.
Between now and then, we may deploy urgent tuning and bug hotfixes to classes, but the trees in the live game are working correctly.
If they are making urgent tuning to live it wont overally affect the beta version.
Unless you say they will also put in the talent trees for live which are currently in the beta for those missing the actual tree.
Since if they tune TWW based on pre-patch that would be the dumbest thing ever.
You can make your assumptions if you want. You tend to exaggerate quite alot of what other people believe anyway.
I want them to make tunings for pre-patch, but I would not like them to nerf things on beta based on pre-patch which you seem to do.
Instead, my belief, is that they can tune things for both.
Beta is its own patch with its own values on specs. Tune based on TWW which starts on TWW release.
Pre-patch is its own patch with its own values on specs. Tune based on pre-patch that will be overwritten by TWW patch when released.
Thats not exaggerating my posts? Or are you trying to tell me something im not?
Looks like you exaggerating because I did not look at it like you do in terms of TWW should be balanced around pre-patch. Psst its not the first time you do it against me.
But I argued against using nerfs on TWW to fuel it to pre-patch when they can make 2 different nerfs on 2 different patches.
Specs can be mediocre in beta but outperform alot on pre-patch.
There can also be specs who are mediocre in pre-patch but outperform in beta.
Which do you look at? Should they nerf something which is mediocre even more based on beta?
