Things that we NEED at this point

MM

  • Aimed shot cast time reduced by steady shot 50%/100% per cast
  • Chimera Shot reverted back to what it was during MoP and the main big hitter.
  • Sniper Shot in talent tree, make it 15% of YOUR health in PvE and PvP talent to 20% of the target.
  • Lone Wolf allows ALL pet related abilities castable by hunter in the exact state, eg. RoS castable by hunter during stun, Master’s Call castable while stunned, castable on other targets by YOU, Intimidation 40y stun from hunter.

SV

  • Raptor Strike baseline and mongoose bite first talent.
  • Mongoose fury stacks up to three times during 15 second window for 33/66/100% extra damage.
  • Aspect of the Eagle is now a 30s CD with 12s duration. Generates 60 focus over its duration.
  • Wildfire Bombs damage over time increased by 100%
  • Wildfire Ignition - Wildfire damage over time leaves a debuff increasing damage taken from serpent sting by 5% per stack. Stacks 20 times. Lasts 15 seconds.
  • Coordinated Assualt - Now increases damage done by 15%, allows access to Kill Shot and lowers CD by 60% and wildfire bombs do 50% additional damage.
  • Survivalist - You enter a state of survival, decreasing damage taken by 15%, Dodge by 25% and clears all magical effects. Any time you land an attack on an opponent, you will gain 2% extra dodge and 2% decreased damage stacking up to 10 times and will additionaly remove 1 magic effect. Lasts 20 seconds, useable while stunned, 1.5m CD.
  • Trap Launcher - Toggle the trap launcher to toss your traps directly at opponents feet. Increases trap CD by 50% when used.
  • Burden Free - For 15 seconds you may now use all pet reliant abilties without use of the pet. Works on all abilties except kill command and flanking strike. 1m CD. ***

*** Burden free is useful for pet downtime, being able to use utility and major CDs if pet is CCd, out of range, LoS or dead.

CLASS

  • Disengage and Posthaste are now baseline for ALL specs.

Choice Node …

  • Double Up - Disengage gains a charge and its CD is reduced by 5 seconds.
    or
  • Escape Specialist - Upon disenganging you physically root all targets within a 8 yards range for 3 seconds, and while posthatse lasts you may not be reduced below 100% movement speed.

More class changes

  • Aspect of the Cheetah CD reduced to 1m.
  • Aspect of the turtle removed Bleeds, Poisons, Diseases and Snare effects. CD changed to 2 minutes.
  • Aspect of the Monkey - Aspect of the Monkey increases your dodge chance by 50% for 12 seconds. 2m CD.
  • Riot Shot - Shoots a disruptive magical arrow which sticks to the target for 3 seconds. Every second riot shot errupts in arcane energy and knocks your opponent up into the air.

These changes are more pvp focused than anything, but would like to see stuff like this in the game. Hunters design is so so so so stale and backdated compared to all other classes it is getting stupid now.

This is the best idea here, would be kinda sick if they gave you a choice node in mongoose bite to either make it stack up to 3 where it’d be 20/40/60 or 5 stacks where it’d be 15/30/45/60/75. Both would be viable for fort/tyran weeks + pvp.

Id’say as markmanship, we need our current 2p-4p to be included in the tree.


  • 2P allow for having much needed Duo-target cleave that Marksmanship historically always had issue with. It could clearly be a capstone.

  • I think that both 4P and the Focused Fire Azerite Trait (bonus dam on Rapid Fire + chances of getting focus per shot) should be put in the middle part of the tree to allow more Rapid fire focus build on one side of the tree and more aimed shot focused build on the other side.

  • Multi-Shot should be baseline and Trick shots in the first tier of the tree. Needing to spend 2 point just to be able to multi-target is already stupid enough, but having to wait lvl 35 to even start to multi target when you level is just dumb.

  • I would like to see the Kyrian ability back. It was a great option to have a mini-burst every minute. Triple Explosion shot + Death chakram kind of took the spot, but the burst misalignment of 2min/45sec do not feel as great and well rounded as Kyrian SL gameplay.

Either that or at least make Lone wolf just be 5% instead of 10% so it becomes only a lost of 1-3% of DPS on mono to be able to Bloodlust. BL as become such a big part of why you bring a Hunt in MM+ that it makes Marksmanship be less valuable than BM or Survival, just because of that reason.


  • The howl either must be redesign or there should be uses for it with line of sight mecanics. As it is it’s totally useless in PVE and the 5% leach do not even save it. As it is right now, since Devs don’t seems to want to play with line of sight in PVE, it should just be taken out of the tree and be put as a PVP talent.
