You may start playing guardian druid but… Almost nobody wants to see guardian druid in m+. So, be ready for being declined many many times especially for keys 10+.
I don’t want to scare you or force giving up the idea playing as a bear. But that’s the reality of m+ now due to some silly meta. In other aspects of the game bear is fine.
Yeah no, I don’t get declined as a bear.
I’m doing 15-18 keys, while sometimes pugging such. No one wants to see anything below their own perception of what amount of m+ score is good, it’s not tied to the class. Some people from different servers (inclduding EU) I’ve pugged keys with whisper me to join them on their runs.
Play whatever you want, get good at it and you’ll be fine. Just don’t expect everything to happen all at once, put in some work.

The druid discord is pretty good as well as the general tank discord.
I find it utterly bizarre that we need to go outside of the warcraft site to fansites to find out about the classes, it would be nice for newer players to not have to go searching so hard for info.
