I’m focusing more on RBGs instead of arena, and I’m tired of being so squishy so that extra survivability as necro looks very appealing. Anyone playing as necro and how do you like it?

I swapped from NF to Necro last week and it is so good. The only issue is it is not on demand as it’s a passive HOWEVER in some arena games it can proc so many times and the 20% dmg increase from the a demon soul (the duration can be significantly longer with a conduit) is mental! I would say go for it -ive never seen a necro DH in arena (me being the first) it brings a heck load of dmg and survivability. My HPS is insane and my DPS is sustained it’s a great choice!
Just a quick edit - it can.also break CC. If you’re against rogue/mage and you’re being pollied etc leave your demon as long as you can and it will break every poly you are put into - when they burst on you simply trinket + throw glaive at demon which.will give around 10khp then run into the demon soul for an additional 15k hp. I don’t know why we don’t see more necro DHs considering it is pretty much unavoidable whereas the hunt on a 1m30s CD that sometimes hits as much as my Fodder to the flame explosion and it can be cc’ed.
ON TOP OF THIS - the emini soulbinds provides %age of agility based on your party size when you proc a demon so for 15 seconds or so. 5% for 2% main stat for all of your surrounding allies in your party. So you can get up to 15% increases agility based on party size as well as 20% increased flat dmg for 15-20s. It’s kinda mental and.the healing it mental too

I made the switch to necro and it feels way better in RBGs. NF might be better for arena, but I like having more survivability in solo play. Also killing the demons feels really good when you get that big heal. It’s even better for tanking pve I think.
Does anyone know what % of DH are necro?

Honestly would quite like to know this too. I’ve kept up with Kyrian as Veng DH for ‘general’ use, but since I at the most complete Casual HC’s with mythic dabbling and mostly M+‘s around 15’'s and only slightly above, I wanna see how much i’m sacrificing for the potential that Necrolord can offer.
Also because I generally feel aesthetically unfitting being in the Kyrian place. As a DH, of all things where looks do not fall in quite well >.<.
