I decided to write this topic because I was really curious on what broadcasting and third party apps or addons are , since my friend got banned a few days ago and hopefully it wasnt a perma ban and was 6 months only (which still hurts anyway). in the first place our thoughts was on Vpn usage since we are living in the middle-east and thats a must for us to connect to the the Eu servers and not to face the word server down error eversince we log on to azeroth. but then after ticket submission the game master replied the reason of the ban as the third party and broadcasting addon usage and as far as im concerned I do not remember my friend using any cheats or anything like that except once he used autoclicker(and yes we were aware of that app being against Tos but he was just trying it a few times) for skinning and farming to make some legendaries! so Now im looking forward to your opinions that can anyone name some of these addons so we might delete it or not use it anymore ( my vision is mainly on addons since i`ve heard even some Dps rotation addons might get caught as cheat too) thanks for reading everyone and sorry that I made it a little longer

Googling, I came across this in the multiboxing software IsBoxer:
Enable “Broadcasting mode” to mirror your keyboard and mouse actions precisely to your other game windows, and even see the active mouse cursor in all game windows!
Automated multiboxing is now forbidden. Was your friend still multiboxing?
No he wasnt multiboxing and yes I know multiboxing is a third party but it seems like there are some other apps or addons that are third party that might lead to ban thats why I was asking
Yeah, but the only reference to “broadcasting” I could find was about multiboxing - “broadcasting” keyboard input to multiple sessions.
I can imagine some other external applications might have similar functionality - autokey clickers for example - but no clue what those might be, specifically.
