This expansion has been a hot mess. Constant unscheduled maintenance. Hotfixes rushed and untested. Players don’t know what they want

All they need to do is properly tune delves for each number of people entering. What they need to do on top of that for the solo part of delves is to tune them according to the class a person plays. They’ve done this before (example, Mage Tower) so it’s not an impossible request.

If they cannot handle this they should have held off on introducing delves until they can in fact handle it or scratch the idea completely instead of releasing the mess we have now that only very few people enjoy.

Rather have them divide delves. Delves that are only for solo play and other delves for group content 2-5. Think this is the only way they can balance it properly. There will otherwise always be things (like i’ve seen in other posts aswell) multiple tanks or healers that will just dominate clearing delves which puts full dps specs again in a bad position and excluded from pugs. They just have to sit arround a table and put their heads together to come up with a decent solution and not just throw something in our face. Hope they find something soon

That is a great idea as well. Anything works as long as the playing field is at least somewhat evened out. Right now we have classes that can faceroll delves solo while its almost impossible for other classes to solo at all whether they get one shot left right and center (dps) or it takes an unreasonable amount of time to complete (healers). It’s rushed like a lot of things in this expansion unfortunately.

blizz got rid of quality testing in house years ago, since then we are paying to be testers for beta releases… hence constant hotfixes etc.

It truly does feel that way.

Why supposedly finished product need hotfixes at all? It should have been tested and fixed before being released for people who paid a ridiculous amount of money for it.

I get what you mean but would you want same untested releases with bugs but wait 1-2 months for each fixes? No.

I would actually expect no bugs at all, and no need for fixes in so-called “end product”.

Nothing is really “finished product”. There is always ways to improve/tweak with more time. Products are considered finished when they reach the deadline and has to be released but they aren’t truly finished.

To improve, yes probably, unless the improvement is so constant it means it wasn’t thought properly from the start. To change it constantly because it’s bugged or badly designed so much that it makes the gameplay frustrating and boring, no.

Resto shaman damage was lacking, and they improved it a bit. Healer DPS isn’t really all that relevant in the keys that most people will do.

Looking at the logs from the HC raid, resto shamans aren’t leading the pack: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/38#metric=hps

Resto shaman is in the 5th place of the 7 healing specs. The only healer that is really lacking is resto druid, at least in the raid.

Yes but mage class was desgiend for class and was ONE instance. They cant design 13 delves for for each class. They could tune numbers for each class but, are they really gonna put that much resources not only on implementing that but also maintaining every season? I reeeeeaaally doubt it.

They can. They decided to introduce this concept, if they cannot be arsed to not be lazy or do not have the dev power to balance it for more than one delve then it was a bad idea to begin with and the concept should have died at the planning stage. It didn’t die and now we have this hot mess to deal with.

Yes… Me too. We paying for exp, paying for sub and instead of quality content we get new bear mount in store.

Even wod was better in my opinion. For me its worst expansion ever and last time i bought something with early access .
