Yeah there will always be outliers, seems like Frost DK is easier to play and get better raw numbers, but you have a single burst moment in the game that can be easily countered making climbing hard if people know how to play against you. Like I said I’m not sure what the issues behind Frost DK are so I’m guessing it might be low survivability, easily countered, single burst moments, no ways to actually outplay ppl.
Feral numbers are all worse, but you got Cyclone, so even though everything about the spec sucks, if you actually hard outplay the enemy team you can still actually climb. Frost DK probably lacks this “outplay” possibility.

at the end the best metric for the performance is … well… the performance, rather than popularity…
because while popularity correlates with performance, performance itself is the causation (are they winning? are they dying? are they doing good damage?..)
Ye, it’s not. Especially when you’re spec without immunity, that can easily die through defensives… being glass cannon is usually so bad, that even though you may have powerful toolkit - it doesn’t matter and it does not work.
Ye they don’t really think like that. It’s obvious from Rogue design that there is no such considerations. Some classes are simply good at multiple things while having no downsides, other classes have major weaknesses. It’s not that they get weaknesses to counteract great updsides… if it were, then it would be applied to all classes.
Played a longer session yesterday, and I tried out adaptive swarm with 1x saber jaws. Bites hitting for 85k on average non-crit. So this talent was a scam to dump talent points, since bites hit harder before this talent was implemented (95k).
Especially when doing so is impossible when playing vs ppl with more than 2 brain cells, that’s why Feral has the lowest win rate out of every single spec and class, has below average burst, below average DMG, one of the lowest HPS and the highest death rate.
We don’t what Cyclone, we want a functioning spec, the whole spec is BS, we are focused around one spell and one spell only - Cyclone. Without it you do less than a tank or healer, with it you are average, if people stop your casts you are just AFKing in the corner hoping nobody hits you.
