This is the true problem, players who wont stop at anything to buy unfair advantage.
But no, noone raising voice and report them for gold buying, because “you know, it is my guildies, my family, my friends, they have to parse 99%…”
And when Blizzard doing the same, in their own game, it is somehow not acceptable.

Why are you against gold buyers, and at the same time you want to buy gold from Blizzard. People are against RMT cus it ruins the game… Should we really make things worse?
I would love to have WoW free of both WoW token and ilegal gold buying from gold selling sites.
But, if I have to choose, I would rather have WoW token, simply for legalist reason that that money belongs to Blizzard, owner of the game.

TBC is already ruined, even before it started. Boosts, ugly ‘deluxe’ mounts, slowly introducing microtransactions, Tokens will be added because people are easily fooled. Extremely expensive clones, where the initial price was set super high with the expected backlash, for then to be lowered to the intended price as planned. Actiblizz then seem like heroes, because people are so easily manipulated. It’s insane. Get it all out. They’re doing the same mistakes all over again. However this time it’s even worse, now they don’t even give a damn about the playerbase or the game. Actiblizz like most of the playerbase, are minmaxing. Minimal effort for maximized income, for a short period of time.

i rather have the buyers get scammed and/or banned because they use some shady 3rd party website. good riddance, but maybe thats just me

Ye, not really. You seem to think Blizzard will respond to every rumour, which they don’t.
Since when have you seen them deny any rumor that goes around?
It’s more than a simple rumour. The damn token appeared in the shop. There’s legit reasons to be concerned.
While I agree with that, they don’t normally respond to those rumours. If i’m correct the same thing happened before and it turned out to be for China only.

Calm down, the token found can perfectly be the one they’ve had available in China for most of Vanilla Classic.
It’s easier to have it in the code for all versions and turn it on/off than having to patch it in and out for each region.
I hope it doesn’t get introduced in the rest of the regions (Americas, EU, etc) , let’s keep it only in retail.
