Ye, not really. Don’t know much about other MMO’s do you? With that said, the token has no place in Classic TBC and it would be very dumb for them to add it.

The mount is… fine not mandatory and not game breaking
And the boost is not affecting your gameplay.

Everyone wants blizzard to do something about bots and gold sellers. Goldsellers not only get their golds by botting but also stealing accounts, putting huge amounts of stuff on the AH starting bid 1c / bo overpriced or WAY overpriced. You all want to get rid of that, well at least most of us and me aswell.
Blizzard has come with their own solution to deal with these goldsellers which is that token and now all hell breaks lose because it smells like retail, do you ppl even know what it is you want??

2 things to say about wow-tokens and all similar “helpful” stuff:
1st, all who chose to play classic wow instead of retail, don´t we all do it just Because we wanted to skip all such stuff? I mean, one part of this older version was the hard work needed to reach good progress, like the hard farming-work for materials and professions. WoW-token will surely remove all that, and become closer to retail-version again. Skip That! is all I feel …
2nd - wow-tokens … For wow-players, doesn´t that more or less just mean “don´t spend money buying gold from farming ppl / crap companies, instead spend money buy from Blizzard”?
I say (wish) that ppl didn´t spend real money at all but instead do the hard work to farm in-game gold as it is ment to be. And tbh, haven´t we all paid Blizzard enough allready for this game …?

We have unofficial token in classic for almost 2 years now, P2W is going on thru whole classic.

No excuses there, but no freaking way is Blizzard going to get away with this mess by earning more money. And no way are they going to make the P2W worse by selling it to everyone. How can you dumb people think that it’s a solution to make Blizzard THE RMT?
People seems to be so stupid that they can’t understand that MMOs in 2021 can have a player driven economy with minimal RMT, if handled correctly by the staff. The solution is banning bots and gold sellers, and track down gold buyers. THIS is the solution.

Boosts are speeding up progression (=time invested) for real money.

And with G2G you dont have problem?? In my GUILD all players now buying golds from EURO everyday…many many golds… soo what a problem with wow token?
Pay to win - a situation where the player can buy in-game content or in-game changes, with real money, that give the player a gameplay advantage or advance the player gameplaywise.
Boosting progression (cutting time played) gives an unfair advantage over other players. How can anyone think that is fair.
This is a videogame where everyone should be equal. Real life wealth should not define anyone’s wealth in the game.
Time to report those people and get them banned
