This item's source is no longer available (transmog)

should’ve kept the items homie.

I mained a warlock during original non expansion WoW, but I got ‘back rewarded’ a lot of the transmogs I had vended back in the day. That was a nice move on their part.

Some of these unobtainable ones are really plain though, sure, you can’t get them anymore… but why would someone want such an plain looking low pixel robe now?

Ah yes, with the amazing power of hindsight before transmogs became a thing.

no changes.

Well yeah, it’s great to have unobtainable stuff. I have a lot, too.

But the only reason it’s great, is to be able to complete transmog sets and not because other people can’t get them anymore.

Gatekeeping mounts and tmog in wow… Sigh. And I have a bruto among other removed items. I still think it should have never been removed in the first place along with every other removed thing I own. Removing stuff just makes the game poorer for a fake sense of pride. When all it means having something is that you had an active sub at the time.

people should not be able to have certain items. if you didn’t play back then you shouldn’t have them. it’s really not a hard concept to follow

faboularian your earliest achievement is from 2017.

the fact that you even debate this is beyond me.

You have your opinion. I have mine. You can keep calling for the removal of things and I can keep calling for their return. Seeing as how Blizzard has returned things back in the game that had become unobtainable there is no rule that states that what is gone now, will be gone forever.

And yet I have a bigger collection than you even though I started much later. I don’t deserve a say in the matter because I haven’t been playing from classic? Gatekeeping at its finest…

mounts? yeah sure but you have no noteworthy achievement points, i have more achievement points than you do and items you could only dream of of having. please get a grip.

i have some of the rarest achievements in this game. you sound extremely silly right now.

But what if you did play a long time ago but sold some random dungeon item because you got an upgrade? No one probably thought some of the old dungeons would get revamped, and with that get blues removed. Do these people not deserve it either?
This is some extreme gatekeeping.

there were news of the revamp and the removal of items beforehand, did you guys even play back in the days? feels like i’m talking to brand new players.

I played over 10 years ago, but on another account. I probably have some items on that character that are gone now. However I did not play for years, and thus did not keep up with anything about the game. I am pretty sure there’s other people who also did the same.

Well I know I did, why would I lie about that?

And I can’t take you seriously cause you start commenting on someones achievement points in a game. Does it make you feel better knowing you saved some random greens and blues from ages ago?

You know I could start a petty squabble about who has what. But I’d rather not. However you really aren’t in a position to dictate who deserves to have an opinion and who not simply because you logged into the game earlier than someone else…

Ok then petty squabble it is. Imagine if a lowlie pleb who started at 2017 has a bigger mount collection than Mr.High and mighty who is playing since Vanilla. In a sense I was able to achieve more in 4 years than what you managed to achieve in a decate+. Please get off that high horse already.

At this point I am not sure if your replies are actually serious or if you are trolling.

i was raiding hardcore for years. i was also boosting challenge modes for YEARS. you think i’ve been farming achievements since i started? once again you’re the new kid at the job talking to the owner.

congratulations you got more mounts than me, but the truth is people will remember hard achievements, not mounts.
