Hwo was it try harding when every single shovel spot had KP in it and now, you dont find anything during week 1?
they āexploitedā purely to get ahead.
that is true nature of a try hard.
Sure⦠Sure⦠Very try hard when you litteralyl had dig sites popping up left and ride⦠you could get 3 digsites a minutesā¦
So go ahead, Call it try hard if you will, but I dont consider it ātry hardā.
you seem a bit upsetā¦
i beginning to think when you say ātheyā it is really āyouā.
have fun though.
Wtf are you even on? You litterally had 1 in 3 digsites, KP stones.
You dont have that now. 50 digsites later, still no KP.
Shush.
At first I found it frustrating but now itās very adventurous, letās say. I think, orders need to be reworked, but the rest is interesting. Lots of experimentation and collecting.
Although thereās two things I canāt stand. The amount crafting reagents filling my bags. And the grade for every potion and phial I create. They bloat my bag space very fast. I just decided to specialise in three recipes only for me to save the headache.
so you are aggressive to boot
have fun with that.
I am not really aggressive but youāre not understanding the difference between try harding to get something legitly and exploiting so thereās that?
I really dislike this system, Iād rather have classic crafting tbh. Itās mostly a monopoly based of luck or the very rich players. At least thatās how itās been so far, hopefully it improves but it feels really bad to have a profession but still having to go to the AH because you canāt craft high enough quality or the recipe simple hasnāt dropped for you yet.
Well, you arenāt supposed to unlock everything within 3 weeks. We have a few months before Patch 10.1 goes live on PTR even. Plenty of time to find and unlock new schematics and level crafting.
Surprised no one mentions the awful interface. Oh look it new lets make it big forcing other windows to close. The dodgy loot box that appears showing every potion landing, why?
Oh believe me. Alot of people do say this but then you have people constantly whiteknighting to watch third party guides making all kinds off excuses
Yes⦠after falling behind when you and then nobody wants to buy your at the time crappy schematics.
Maybe. I just donāt find it fun waiting on a profession.
Let me give you an example:
In previous expansions I leveled up engineering through making useless stuff that Iād vendor afterwards. Not that fun, but itās āgameplayā at least. Then I could make what I wanted, for instance a wormhole device. It would then just work.
Now though, I need to āimprove itā. Which takes time. Not time thatās filled with interesting things, no⦠Just waiting, basically.
So Iām getting half a useful thing and I can wait a couple of months to turn it into something useful. Meh.
You forget a major factor.
Specializations will remain, even after DF is done. At least it looks to me like that.
So, sure, it sucks to level right now but it will be worth it in the long run.
You wanna bet that its prolly just gonna be like catagorised as expansion again every expansion is independant from each other?
Why would you make DF stuff a requirement for a different expansion anyway?
Eeehhh Iām not so sure about that.
I think specializations will be expansion specific (if they continue this type of profession system in the first place). Because thereās some VERY specific stuff in there - specializing in finding certain ores and such. Bonuses you unlock there that only affect specific recipes within DF engineering.
So yeah⦠I think next expansion weāre going to have to do it all over again for āWoW: The Army of Lightā.
Itās a bit confusing. I donāt think there was much wrong with the old system, except using an old and outdated UI. I kind of like the rework for gathering though.
Specializations are not tied to dragonflight crafted gear. Idk if you didnāt got that yet through play or just made an assumption.

Specializations are not tied to dragonflight crafted gear.
[/quote]So youāre implying they work for older expansions?..
But they are.
The gathering specializations more so -tied to DF specific ore/herbsā and such.
But still.
