I made a mistake because I was angry and upset and I’m sorry. Blizz wouldn’t let me delete the post, so I just edited it to empty the content.
Long story short, harassment and veiled threats are bad. Don’t go around trying to scare people who aren’t doing anything wrong.
Edit; Especially by trying to discredit other players without evidence. No way of telling if what they said were true, and anyone can go around spreading these kinds of things.
Edit2, post-discussion end; General blame on the PCU is dropped, because I admittedly do not have definite proof of what was claimed, which is my bad. The evidence provided was, in hindsight, very lackluster and I agree.
Please beware of stalkers on random, expendable class trial alts. If they whisper you and threaten you, or talk trash about someone you’re RP’ing with and showing no proof (like in my case), instantly pvp-fr their character to find out who they are before they delete the stalker character, which they tend to do quickly. Screenshot the convo and report them to Blizz if they threaten you, and potentially report to their respective guilds (WITH PROOF, not just blanket blame like I just did) in a cordial manner.

One good-intended moderator doesn’t mean I ain’t going to put the bad guy on blast, especially after all the people who have claimed to be harassed by PCU people.
If this has nothing to do with you or yours then it’s probably good that this is being posted so that people know that someone is going around pretending to be you.

The person wasn’t pretending anything, OP claims it’s a PCU member because they feel its their thing to harass others.
ie it’s prime COAD hours.
They yeeted and deleted their character before pvp-fr could show me their affiliated characters. I’m not saying they were definitely PCU, but I’m just inclined to believe that they are because I’ve been hearing these rumors for a while. Personally I’m not going to just sit back when the rumored stalkers approach me directly and proves all those people correct in their claims.
Not to mention that they directly mentioned that discord channel, which you can see in the chat log.
- has no actual proof, just a rando deleted trial account
- makes further accusations without actual proof that isnt akin to a parrot, repeating someone else
- makes back and forth “it may not be them, but still!!!” moments
If you experienced some form of a harassment - report that via in-game feature, or go to another forum branch that is more or less responsible for dealing with that.
Wiggling your finger in the air, citing something without actual proof is just dull.
All I asked for here was that PCU people condemn this BS, but turning defensive about it isn’t a good look.
The AD discord is not the PCU Discord. Anyone can join. Again if you can provide a name of their character if they are PCU it can be handled.

Blaming a whole community and showing no evidence is not the way to go. Please show everyone this bad egg so we all know who to look out for.

What’s there to say, really? People condemn this and Lunarglade said they would take action against this person if there’s definitive proof that this person is actually part of the PCU – but it’s not weird that a community turns defensive when you tar all its members with the brush of “stalking” for an accusation that seems entirely baseless.

You didn’t ask for anything, you made a public service announcement thread claiming that the PCU fosters this behavior, then provided 0 evidence apart from your feelings and because whoever whispered you mentioned a non-PCU Discord.

I posted the image of the chat log already. Problem is it’s hard to look out for level 50 trial rogues that stalk you and then promptly delete their own character to avoid being tracked back.
The guy who whispered you instantly discredited himself when he said that the previous erp was being shared in AD/D, there’s nothing there except friday posting.
