This stupid Zombie "Event"

Why does this pathetic Zombie thing exist? It isn’t fun, it isn’t interactive, is all it is, is people trolling each other and ruining other people’s experiences. I am just trying to quest and zone and I can’t because my gear is turning red every few minutes because some lowlife thinks it is “funny” to camp low level zones and SW. Please remove it, we pay a lot of money to play this game, and to not be able to play it because of a poorly designed game “mechanic” and some trolls is unacceptable.

Isnt it the same event that came with the Classic Wotlk prepatch X years ago? I thought that is what you Classic people wanted, the same content you played X years ago?

Or was it different back then?

I recommend that you go to other cities if you need something, since the rest of the cities usually have everything too. And to level the same, avoid Orgrimmar and Stormwind, there are more cities apart from these 2.

Yes and it was such a tish show then Blizzard stopped it early! Sounds like my decision to avoid it this time around is justified!

these events are awesome and they should be permanent and the zombies buffed

But classic players said this is the GREATEST EVENT in HISTORY OF WOW
is it not?

I unironically think it is, but tastes differ ^^

In the shadowlands pre patch they did the same i loved the event to be honest. Pursefully let myself get infected then quickly flying into the auction house as an “innocent” player and when i turn i let myself explode and all those level 10 ah users got turned and others got infected  :joy:

If you hate fun stop playing a video game and go ask your boss for extra hours at the office please.

Yeah I know, I always despised it too. Was infuriated when they put it in Shadowlands. I just had to stop playing. Outland seems alright if you wanna level a DK though.

Its there just so nostalgia freaks could get their share of fun .

That’s why IT was wo important to push leveling in week 1 :stuck_out_tongue:

I didn’t enjoy the zombie event the first time round and it’s the same issue this time round. You want to pick up or hand in quests, well tough the NPC is a zombie running around in a horde of other zombies. You want to use the AH, you will constantly be infected by other players and the AH NPCs will be infected too.

I frequently get asked for dispels to remove the infection from other players who’ve been hit.

This event got a huge amount of complaints back in the day as it’s so disruptive. There will also be groups of people that love this stuff.

We just have to endure

You can always go to a different zone, change layers etc. There are many options to completely ignore this whole event for the most part.

I would imagine the concept of the event is to create immersion and atmosphere, making it feel like the Scourge is attacking everywhere and no one is able to continue with their standard game routine.

At least in Outlands we can fly above all the trolling, but back on Kalimdor/EK we have no choice but to be infected

I’m glad some people enjoyed it  When I wasn’t in keys, I spent most of my time on a roof in Boralus!

Just Effin enjoy it while it lasts. It’s there for a few weeks and then gone forever. Go get the unique items. Run around as a zombie. Do quests (if there are any, can’t remember it’s been so long).

This is the kind of post that nudged Bliz into giving us dull pre-patch events for Cata, MOP and WoD, I can barely remember them. Only in Legion did they dare to start doing something interesting again.
