With the recent videos about botting in WoW and how it works, enabling AH on HC is gonna kill the server right at the spot. I know for a lot of peeps that is big NO, but if you think about it will ruin the server and thus ppl will have enough of this BS and most likely to leave and never come back.
While I understand that some ppl DOES want AH, and they want to trade right at the go, enabling bots on HC simply isn’t gonna work, not even close. Even with the death penalty this won’t stop the bots as they use pretty clever program that makes their leveling very safe and easy. You don’t want bots to camp your black lotus 24/7, because this will happen with your AH enabled. Bots will swarm the server and you won’t be able to do nothing about it. It’s easy money for them, and an eternal grief for you, because you wanted some luxury while the whole concept of HC is not to have any of those.
I would rather have botless server than being frustrasted at the endless camp of bots for all kinds of mats. You guys have no idea how much of damage bots can do, including your joy of playing HC because in the long run, at some point, you will get frustrasted and complaining on the forums; “OMG, Blizz DO something about the bots!” “It’s official, HC server is dead because of bots”. “Does Blizzard care at all?”
You don’t want to see these topics, or if you do, that means you’re done with the HC server.

If the HC community is what they say, all afraid of goldsellers, then none going to buy 
only tourists that gonna die like flies and stop play after 3 or 4 deaths.
I am happy for official HC server rules, I am happy to send mails and happy be able to make professions while level and not first at 60.
I solemnly swear that:
- I will not buy any G
- I will post all my blue or green gear BoE on AH as I not use myself – I Play IronMan.
- I will level my proffs while levelling and buy what I cannot make myself off AH
- I will gather mats for fancy shirts to sent to tailor alt, making shirts, when I feel like treating myself.
- I will die a million times.
. I will have fun.
Want to see server with no bots and OK economy? Come to PvE Era cluster. It is possible. Players decide.

I understand your perspective, but I feel there’s a level of delusion in the argument. Unfortunately, the truth remains that addressing the issue by removing the Auction House (AH) seems to be the only viable solution. We’ve witnessed how bots have become incredibly difficult to stop without this action, and it appears to correlate with the rise in popularity of a more challenging, hardcore gaming experience
Well I do not agree. If people want cheat is up to them.
I think stop fun for great majority to limit cheat - that even is of no importance to ordinary players - from small minorty, is total wrong way to go.
The solution is make noise for the company hire some GM’s to ban cheaters! like we pay aprox 15€ month and is not an indie company. They have the resources to deal with this

It’s pretty sad tbh, because the way things are looking, this chance at an epic experience is going to be washed out and people will turn away from it without ever understanding how great it is.
Regarding restrictions which I was previously hoping for (trade at 35, AH and mail at 60) or w/e, those are just arbitrary examples, Blizz have posted Blue that they have no current ability or interest in implementing such restrictions. It’s why I’ve stopped bothering posting about it.
The first level up is still going to be fun, but this cluster will hold zero longevity, and by the time Blizz has reacted a great amount of interest will be lost.
The only option I see for myself is installing HC addon on top of already playing on HC server xD But really, HC servers will have a few meaningful and fun improvements, such as restricting mobs to one area (anti-leashing) and so on, so we might as well give it a go. If HC servers die, we always have the addon and Era servers

This so true. If you not want trade and AH, and not think you can just keep away (is not THAT hard ) then install HC addon Problem solved, and rest of us can have fun with doing professions while levelling, not first at 60 (if we ever get there), and ocasionel gear or weapon from AH.
