Hello everyone .
i made this topic to share my Idea and solution for fixing pvp match making and the problems around it,

So lets start

1: Premade vs random players in epic bgs and random bgs:
Basically this is the most common problem for me when i join those bgs,
yesterday i joined a bg with my new character after a month, you will not beilive what im going to say.
bg was in ashran and the enemy team were horde and in the first fight in the middle, they killed all of the alliance team then pushed to the boss and won the game in
just 10 to 12 or 13 minutes.

THIS IS KILLING THE PVP IN THIS GAME PEOPLE.

so after some time of thinking about this and a solution for this i Decided to start like this for fixing this,

1: first they need to add 2 extra modes for bgs

a bg named normal battlegrounds (or whatever name that they want to for it )

and then Normal epic battlegrounds.

this 2 modes should be like this :

1 : you need to have 662 PVP item level to enter it. (every one in the both sides are pvp geared and this makes some kind of balance)

2 : you cant join WITH GROUPS in this 2 new modes . (every one is joining solo and no one can bring premade or fully chad pvp players against random people)

SO YOU MAY ASK WHERE SOMEONE THAT IS STARTING THE PVP FIND THOSE HONORS TO ENETER THIS 2 NEW MODES?

the answer is the first 2 old random epic and normal modes that we already have,

imagine someone is fully pve? he joines the first 2 that we have and when he gets fully pvp gear he joines those two new modes.

ok now lets go one stepp up.

right now we have

Premade group for ranked bgs.
solo bgs.
10v10 ranked games.
arena or solo contents of pvp.

in my opinion most of the people joines random ones and they want to have a simple and fun bg without anything complicated to deal with when they want to do some pvp,

and for that after peole gets fully pvp green items they will joine one of those ranked games that i said above.

but we need another mode too. for people that want to play in pvp premade groups in epic or normal bgs,

so we need to have a new mode called (reinforced armies game) or something like this .

in this mode that comes under or near other random bgs in the game.
players can create fully geared pvp chads and goes to fight against other fully geared pvp chads.

NOT RANDOM PEOPLE.
NOT RANKED PVP GAMES .

ITS JUST PREMADE GROUPS AGAINST PREMADE GROUPS.
AND THIS NEW MODE YOU CANT JOIN TO A BG WITHOUT HAVING 15 DUDES WITH YOU IN THE GROUP FOR EXAMPLE OR 40 FOR EPIC BGS.

i believe that this will fix it for good.
THEY CAN ADD THOSE MODES THAT I WROTE ABOUT IN THE WINDOW OF PVP MATCHMAKING.

please share your opinion about this in this topic and if it was good give it so much likes and share it so maybe blizzard pvp Devs see it or get something better or use it for fixing pvp match making

Oh no .it’s the guy with red shiny glasses .

Normal mode is where people are learning and most new players these days make alliance characters so it is mostly natural that they get stomped .

If you want better quality you should go to blitz bg and shuffle arena .try to gear up a bit .you will have good time

If you have 4 modes for Battlegrounds instead of 2, you will just split the PvP playerbase and inadvertedly increase wait times because you split the same amount of players in four queues instead of two.

In your example it isn’t hard to guess that a bracket where people can enter with 0 gear and premades are allowed to operate will be an awful experience for anyone gearing up.

Your bracket where you have to queue solo and don’t meet premades already exists, it is called BG Blitz. It doesn’t have an ilvl requirement, but as you progress you encounter people with no gear or bad gear less.

Adding 20 gamemodes doesn’t solve anything. If there are two gamemodes for the same thing, for instance RBGs and BG Blitz, then one becomes more popular and the other deserted.

More often than not “premade” (not talking about the three synced premades in Epic BGs) is the go to reason for people to explain why they lost and they think that removing premades will make them win more. But you often have premades on your team as well, so it’s not that.

The reason you lost is just the enemy team being better than your team and those scenarios will happen even if you implement 100 versions of BGs.

in one part of the topic i wrote that people wants simple and fun bgs without groups and problems to deal with it,

its only 3 new modes not 20
and yes i already said that we have bgs like solo contents or ranked game or games like blitz.

most of the player base start from what we have right now and when they get pvp gear they join those 2 new modes that everyone are pvp geared and there is no premade or groups vs random in it.

also we can have a new mode for premade vs premade

They should just turn normal battlegrounds into unranked Battleground Blitz. Epic Battlegrounds are really problematic with big premade queue syncers, but when was the last time Blizzard released an epic battleground? Exactly. So I’m not sure if they care about this game mode at all.

Any nonrated pvp has long since rendered pointless to enter, since premade syncers are making them pointless for anyone else who dont participate in random bgs or epic bgs in a full organized raid who cheese their groups in the same instance fishing ques till they are all in same game with their full raid.

Whatever you personally think of him I think you should read what he writes and only comment related on that.

The topic is on behalf of random unrated pvp as far as I gathered though so it does not hold my interest but I still agree on the point he made with organized que syncers from such communities ruining the random bg/ebg experience for everyone else.

The game has major issues in rated pvp right now however (which is my sole interest) so I cant bother with the premades in unrated content any further than pointing this out that it actually is an real issue when they are as a 40man or 15man group in ebg/bg depending on the size of the instance, they can get a full organized group in discord inside it.

yes there are major issues with pvp right now.
but my main point was that we can start with none rated pvp contents first,
and after a long time i joined a random epic bg and i saw it was ruined by premades again.
few months ago that i was doing a lot of random bgs those premades were less than now,
i just cant accept the fact that in 2025 we still have this problem.
everyone just leaves as soon as they see the enemy team is premade full of geared up dudes and meanwhile jack and john that are healer of the team are fully M+ gear, or random blue or pve gear.

i dont know what is going on behind the scene of programing of this game or mechanism of pvp match making , but i tried to find a way based on the level of my knowledge about this.

Only viable way of obtaining honor/conquest for new character now is playing 2s or 3s with a friend and once you have enough honor (10k) to buy full honor gear and few conq pieces on the side and build your rings and neck with the 9x thingys you gain from doing rated pvp first time on each character, after that you can begin queing blitz/shuffles. But this also means there is no playing random bg/ebg for fun at any point because of those premades, so it is an issue.

Shuffle/blitz I would not recommend without honor gear or even in honor gear at this late in season either because of the placement games mmr will donate you 1.9kmmr or something and one will just waste it by trying to gear with it so I would do it in 2/3s and then go using the placement mmr in those rated soloqs, but this is another topic. And this thread is about premades ruining the unrated bg/ebg experience which I fully agree with. Also on the topic random bg/ebg would be good ways of farming honor to play rated unless the said issue there, so thats also problem that ppl are forced into rated 2/3s without pvp gear now if they want to gear for rated soloqs instead of using the unrated modes for it which they essentially are also meant for (gearing for rated).

I do agree that splitting the PVP playerbase is bad. Didn’t Blizzard try that in SoD?

yes exactly.
you know i wanted to try a new class from zero without any group or friend or anything.
just joining a bg and play it but after 10 minutes half of the team left and we lost the game.
you know im a very very old pvp player but even i get tired of hard games or ranked games. and sometimes its fun to play some music or podcast in the background and play some random bgs in chill mode :ok_hand:

Cause of the premades any unrated bg/ebg will sadly now result as waste of time, unable to gain honor/conq from there on reasonable time and any type of playing for fun type of factor will also miss when it will only be one sided stomp with these full raid sized premades cheesing these unrated modes.

you know one of the reasons that i said that in the topic is because a lot of online games start with what i tried to explain,
like as someone that starts the pvp. you will join the random modes that we have right now and then when you get serious you can join those 2 new modes or the other ranked modes.

im trying to say for the start yes maybe it will splitt players but after a while people will understand that those 2 modes that we have for random bgs are just for spending time and training or things like this and when they get to know evrything they can join those new modes that i was talking about to play the game without problems like premades vs random.

for example look at the dota 2 game modes ,
first is normal and training then when you learn the game and fights you can join the ranked games

Yes, and it didn’t work.

I get that, but lack of premades wont make the game more or less fun. At the end of the day the BG will be the stomp it is currently, depending on the amount of “tryhards” vs undergeared leeches. If your team has too little of the former and too much of the latter compared to the other team, the BG just won’t be fun for you.

Edit: the “best” way to prevent these stomps would be to set the ilvl in BGs the same for everyone, so the gear advantage is negated. This would remove gear progression in BGs, but it would decrease the likelyhood of a slaughterfest in a BG moreso than 5 types of queue.

Giving more modes to PVP in an already small player base will increase wait times even more just like it does with PVE its a bad idea in a slowly dying game.

It really isn’t .main aim of normal bg and arena is to get honor which in turn let’s you buy gear .

There is no rank loss .so it is not something that a person should start plucking hair in frustration .on the other hand ranked mode matters that’s why they took action in blitz bg with addon that was letting people make pre made members .

Ruined by premades? Which it is. Only ones who I have seen deny it would be those that play random bg/ebg in said full raid premades by cheesing que syncing. Others are quitting playing bgs because said premades ruining them.

They won’t and shouldn’t add new things that separate playerbase and prolong queue times.

Only solution is converting Blitz rules to regular rated bg rules and removing duo queue option. So premade rats can farm each other in random bgs while real men enjoy fair games.

allright then,
so lets say adding new mode is a bad idea.(even that i think it will work if people give it time)

next its Converting Blitz rules and everything about that

so why nothing happens?
i mean we have this problem for a long long time and it got worse in the war within,
so we should let it be like this till the end of wow life?
