the best thing is, its also BROKEN … people running in Shattrath immune to anyone because they dont get flagged as hostile AS THEY SHOULD so they just run from NPC to NPC spawning endless horde of zombies …
what a GREAT design, not abusable at all …
a sociopaths paradise a developer sanctioned griefing fest …

Cant play in evenings all week due to queue,s then get to play at weekends only to find all the towns infected and quest givers and flight masters dead. lol madness
ye its ruining the game. turn it off.

This is simply not true, sorry. The auction house in Stormwind runs right now, there are hundreds of players. Yes, occasionally one gets corrupted, so you have to walk the way from the graveyard. If you don’t afk in the middle of the street but somewhere else less busy (in the corner of the bank, lets say), you are safe. Far from unplayable in Stormwind and even more so in the other cities.

So you are saying that I went afk 3 min and turn into zombie for a reason and this even is fun? In terms of what dear developer?
This event is as toxic as people on forums
i dont mind events but this event is just waaaay too intrusive to the gameplay.
just make npcs immune and auction house area a cleansed area ATLEAST.

I remember this event back in 2008 - it was fantastic for a few days; but it did get tiresome in the end.
It’s not like we didn;t know it was coming though…youre fairly safe if you send a bank to Exodar/Silvermoon and stay out in the world killing stuff

only problem with this event is when a zombie gets into av or another bg and starts corrupting his own team, everything else seems fair game

you sure watching invulnerable zombie gnawing the faces off of civilians in Shattrath while you for some reason cant touch it is “fair game” ? …
i hope they dont plan on having this event running until the 26th
We have 2 weeks at least to enjoy this event, thank you Blizzard, I love it and I love how people complain about it.
