Thornspeakers

Can the Thornspeakers get an update? their whole lore and ‘‘base’’ is in a cave in DRUSTVAR lol…consisting of 1 druid and 3 students

They could speak with tulips, they we could call them tulipspeakers.

How I wish Thornspeakers would be like:

I think there was supposed to be a more elaborate plotline about the drust and all that stuff in Shadowlands with a raid and everything. But it likely got cut alongside a bunch of other planned content as Shadowlands was cut short.

But hopefully Blizzard will find a venue for it in the future.

How about gnomes and their capital city that’s been invaded by a few level 26 troggs for 15 years ?

Let us purge Gnomeregan once and for all!

;( yes so nice

time and future is running out for blizzard…get their act together…instead of trading post maybe fix the old plotlines and make an enjoyable experience as gaming for new and old players

Tbf, I think the drust is very cool. Could have been half an expansion from my perspective, and I’d have been happy with it

There was going to be more about the Drust and Thornspeakers in BFA but due to short on time it was cut and they released the game a month early because the investors were breathing down their neck. Same thing that there was suppose to be more areas on Kultiras but was cut to save time. Also that Boralus was to be spread out just like Dazar’alor but instead we alliance was placed at the harbor when we were suppose to have the Boralus castle as our base of operation. Even the Boralys Mythic dungeons was suppose to be a raid but was reduced to a mythic dungeon instead as they were trying to focus on finishing the Zandalar map first.

Then in Shadowlands Blizzard tried to give more story of the Drust but again it was cut.

As I said before that Kultirans could have been the Answer of barbaric race as they could been added to the Playable Kultirans (or as their own race) with Ulfar leading them and some Kultirans could have learn the ways of the drust as warriors, hunters, shamans (As I would call their shamans Stonespeakers so the druids as Thornspeakers, the shamans could be Stonespeakers and try to master the magic that the Drust use to create their rune Stone creatures). And they could have their base at some Drust ruins and build a village around the drust ruins. “Kul”-tirans, Vry -“Kul”. An ancient power ready to be unleashed upon the Horde at the command of the noble houses of Kultiras.

This picture (for me anyway) shows how the Kultirans could been different from the other humans, using ancient/very old magic that not been seen before to the Alliance or Horde. More primitive, glowing eyes, glowing rune tattoos on their skin. And culture to be the same as the Vrykul as the Drust was once Vrykul. Taller than regular Stormwind Humans.

Hmm they could have thorns embedded into the their armor and fur. Like the Warriors have plate with fur and Thorns similar to that of the thornspeaker druids. And so too for the cloth, leather and mail armor. You know maybe theycould have something similar to that of the Elex game Berserkers faction armor.

In my opinion…a missed opportunity by Blizzard, I think.

yep we got fat humans instead. and not even the skinny mage/bandit version

Well it could still be fixed.

Give kultiran males option to rexxars body model and hmm for kultiran female maybe orc female if they can’t make a more buff version of the kultiran female body, If they can’t make the original kultiran female model more buffed. As the Kultiran “Are” Based of Diablo 3 Barbarian male and female, Blizzard just made them fat. But those original models of the Kultirans can still be used for a shaman/druid look so Im not saying to removed the old kultiran model as they look today, just add an option to those who want a more buffed look of the kultirans.

Just switch out the hands and feet and head and use the human skins with the rexxar body with the kultiran male and we have a more buffed up kultiran male and do the same for kultiran female. And also make their heads slightly thinner. And we would have more barbaric humans if they also added some leather clothing for the Kultirans.

Hmm there is however another option for female kultiran more buffed model. The undead warriors from maldraxxus that might be even better option. So there is already in game more buffed body models for the kultirans. Rexxar and that undead maldraxxus female warrior.

Also at the Kultiran character screen they could add a Drust ruin in the background on the mountain that is in the background. Might have to make the mountian abit taller so the Drust ruin can be seen.

Mage/Bandit.

For mage and bandit model look Blizzard can share the Stormwind human body models for the forsaken and forsaken body models for Stormwind humans. As the Forsaken male is identical to the Defias old rogue model in the Deadmines but also need back straight and we would have our rogue/mage for I think the Kultiran skinny humans is way too skinny. I have a forsaken rogue and would loved to have him on the alliance side (For my Rogue main) but more “Alive” look as it really give the Rogue look (Even the hairstyle is awsome, number 13 High, but ofcourse they need to put some meat around the waist as the forsaken males have really tiny waist) I always wanted in wow as I always wanted Defias rogues when I first time saw them in the Deadmines back in 2005. Also would be cool if they share hairstyles that would make sense for humans and the same for the Forsaken.

But ofcourse the Stormwind dead model for the forsaken should have access to the forsaken bony customization so one can see through the armor that they are…forsaken. Sylvanas did raised humans seconds after they were killed back in cataclysm so technically they would have access to that body as those humans did not lay in the ground and rot as the other forsaken have. Yeah they could have Nathanos Blightcaller look but if so to determan that they are forsaken they need bones sticking out of them through the armor. Could also have the hunchback option like the orcs.

I think that would solve the Human mage/rogue look.

If blizzard would make that happen, that I would race change my main rogue to human right away. Also my human mage would have the new body mage/rogue model.

Thornspeakers.

Hopefully one day we get more Thornspeaker lore and that Ulfar gets more screentime for the game.
You know Blizzard could also make it into a quest. Like something is stirring in Drustvar, something old has risen/awaken in Drustvar and we go on a journey with Ulfar and Lucille Waycrest as she wants to learn more about the Drust too and Ulfar tells a story for each Drust runestones we encounter. And after we done we get access to Drust customization for our Kultiran characters, just like the darkshore questline with Tyranade and the Night elves with Night Warrior customization. As there are alot of empty places in Kultiras as Blizzard had to cut alot things on the island, they could add more drust ruins and then add a small island to the southwest or south (or somewhere around) of drustvar where all the strange things are happing and Tandred Proudmoore is willing takes us to that island (And to learn more about him as we know little about Tandred except that we know he is Jainas little brother), and island that is similar to Drustvar and has a strong connection to that hidden plane that Gorak Tul was in. And Ulfar and Tandred joins us to explore the small island and Lucille Waycrest stayed behind in Drustvar.

Kultiran Barbarian.

As I said a missed opportunity by blizzard. As they could have had the Kultirans as privateers, pirates and barbarians, all 3 as a seafaring race. The more modern Kultirans the privateers and pirates that we see Kultirans are in the game now and the more barbaric and mysterious drusts followers and they “could” have been called The Berserkers as an example or something, from Drustvar. Or just be called “The Drust”.

that looks so cool ;( insteadd we got american kultirans

I always wished that Blizzard might go into class skins at some point. A kul’tiran warlock with drust constructs for pets and the witch animations for spells would have been really cool.

damm yessss drust magic introduced in alore friendlyway. only humans and kultirans can use this ‘skin’’ ;D

Yeah The Human druid class for both Stormwind humans and kultiran humans that use drust magic. I hope Blizzard also give the option, a glyph so the magic can have the color/look like the drust magic the Heartsbane Coven use, that black and teal color of drust magic or if its blue.

Drust/Thornspeakers class skin warlock pets suggestion.

And as I also said in the Kultirans character screen they don’t need to remove it just add at the mountain side a drust ruins and a village around the drust ruin.

They could also expand Ulfar’s cave surrounding and build a village around there (maybe add some more snow too around the place. What is the word… I seen on a clip for witcher 3 where skellige have a village at a mountain side with wooden bridges and wooden walkways and also monster hunter world have such wooden walkways and blizzard could put longhouses similar to vrykul buildings on them and also stone buildings on mountain side where it can be placed.
The pictures are from wowpedia so can’t link them so I link the site.

Or if they build an ancient ruin of a drust stonefort around Ulfar’s cave.

is that castle/mount fort pic from skyrim?

Nah I think its witcher 3 but Im just using it as an example.
