Patch Notes: Legacy of Arathor
Note: Conquest Points are now replaced with Cooperation Points and Honour Points with Self Love Points
PvP Tier Sets: these are now replaced with Tear Sets. Players earn these by /cry emojis during any dialogue with Faerin. NB /cry emojis must be genuine empathy and not sarcasm.
Battlegrounds: Now Renamed Bro Grounds
Arathi Basin - Now called Arathi Community Basin
Players cooperate to gather resources together with no combat allowed. When everyone has gathered enough resources, everyone wins. Max reputation awards a tabard featuring humans and orcs hugging.
Warsong Gulch - renamed Warsong Flag Appreciation Gulch
Each side takes it in turns to run their faction flag around in circles while the other side competes to get as many /clap and /salute actions done in 15 minutes. The winning side is the most appreciative and gets double Cooperation Points.
Alterac Valley: New Elimination Mode
Players now bypass all towers and rush to the end boss. Initiating combat with other players removes you from the map.
The end boss on both ends is Faerin. Players must /sit and /listen. When sufficient players have arrived. Faerin begins preaching about various heartwarming topics. Win condition is last player left listening without going /away or leaving the BG.
Temple of Kotmogu: Togetherness Mode
Players each get an orb. Everyone goes to the middle and dances together. Er…that’s it.
