I go to edit my worgen rogue to make him dark blue-ish similar to how Pandaren can be dark blue ( I think that’s really cool btw) and the humans new blue hair colour is dope too, but I cant ??? what happened I cant even use the new shade of black I want to be since that’s linked to a different pattern which has multiple colours in it which is basically bait by that point since then your black white and brown and not just pure black like the current version I use on my priest and rogue
Kinda disappointing given I was under the assumption most if not all races were getting DK colors of sorts for hair colour literally going into shadowlands with basically 0 changes on my main character (if you don’t account for eye colour) I’ll be playing, feels bad man and not even any new race or class to try out.
The Worgen appearance and Human appearance are no longer linked. You should be able to look however you want on both of them. Or did I misunderstand you? I’ve seen the DK colours on the worgen.
they dont have dk colors tho i checked at the barber, everything after 11 is DK colours might be wrong but im fairly sure its everything after 11 cause i went to character select to check go to character create if you don’t believe me.
and2,3, 4, 8, 10 & 11 I believe are the new worgen skin/fur/hair colours? there might be more but its hard to remember everything by heart without using google.
1 through 11 is normal skins, 12-14 is dk colours.
I don’t know if you’re telling me serious porkies or what but I just went to the in-game barber on my rogue and compared to making a DK, No I am missing everything from 12 through to 15 which is the DK colours which are also locked to faces you can’t have as a normal worgen.
Imgur stopped working for me…x’D and my worgen as a female has 1 through 15…and then as a dk has 3 more ontop of that again which you can’t see without being a DK

My confusion was caused by females and male worgens getting different colours which I was not aware of. DKs indeed still have more. So it would appear you’re not getting them atm.
I wouldn’t exactly of been offended if it wasn’t for the fact they went and gave pandaren them their blue colour which is where it begins to baffle me
and then further confuses me how firstly worgen fur colours are locked to patterns and the fact we’re still lacking like 3-4 additional faces which are still locked behind being DK explicit iirc.
Like the one thing I was really pysched about in SL is the new customisation. But alot of the nice stuff is locked behind certain “patterns” or just locked behind DK as a whole and its like cant say theres exactly anything new that I’m excited to toy around with.
Don’t fancy getting lost in the masses of white colour worgen either.

Yes but its still under the same context of why are pandaren open to a new colour but not tauren and worgen when its basically the same context on how its being used and secondly why is there like 5 faces locked behind DK explicitly when it could feasibly be also another regular face to use. I’m also fairly sure that its a DK colour since they can be dks
In case of pandaren those 3 new skin colors look like something for a death knight but they aren’t death knight skin colors because theye were never there before exclusive to only death knights and Pandaren Death Knights were introduced way before those skins. This is not the case with Tauren or Worgen, their skin/fur colors were introduced specificly for death knigths and were death knight exclusive.
Also Worgen males have 5 completely exclusive faces for death knight fur colors for some reason, I don’t know why but they always had those.
They were introduced the same time as dks though…those last 3 skin colours they have access too are the dk skin colours, I literally just checked on character creation. they have 17 in total and the bottom 3, 14 through to 17 are the DK ones. Unless you’re suddenly going to try and argue with me that a blue colour which has been infamously just a DK colour would of been there for pandaren even if they SAID IN A BLUE POST that races would be getting dk colours and pandarens werent going to be able to play a death knight.
It would be very unreal/crazy to think for them to be getting more fur / skin colours explicitly which were likely going to be death knight colours, along with death knight as a playable race during the pre-patch where allied race DKs are already avaliable along side pandaren dks.
Pandaren Death Knigths were introduced in January, those 3 new skin colors were introduced in a prepatch in October, it’s alsmost 10 months between. They aren’t technicly DK skin colros becasue they were never marked as such in db2 files. And db2 files contain all the data client reads. And I checked db2 files for customization every single build since alpha started, as soon as they were added to that database they were flaged as “all classes”. Of course they look like something that probably was meant for only death knigths but they didn’t wanted to do them for all allied races so they gave those for all pandaren classes instead. My argument is that I won’t call as skin or hair color a death knight color if it was never classified officialy by Bllizzard as such in the database files.
Also what do you mean pandarens weren’t going to be able to play a death knight? Pandaren Death Knights were announced over a year ago at Blizzcon alongside other races that didn’t have access to this class. As for the Blue Post there wasn’t any blue post as far as I remember. Ion just said it in a tweet that they are going to make dk exclusive hair colors available for all the classes. But this only applies to races that have a specific customization options called Hair Color.
