You’re going to allow a class to silence HoF for 20 seconds… from retribution… the melee dps spec that has no mobility…

I agree with Schwzenegger. It’s really problematic if shadow priest can lock freedom for 20 seconds.

I hate to say it’s even worse than you imagine, but according to the Wowhead talent calculator it’s available to all priest specs

You’re right it’s worst than I imagined. I checked this morning on beta server and every priest spec has access to this talent.

I stand corrected. Read up on it. It’s completely broken. Also when used on mages to steal polymorph.
Some classes have multiple different specs have different abilities stolen and silenced by the ability, it isn’t a blanket spell stolen, some of them are insignificant.
It doesn’t need to be Freedom from all 3 specs, and Blizz should at least be aware of each specs problems if they are putting any effort into developing our specs and classes.
Steal our stun, steal BoP, steal any strong spell, but to steal our mobility spell when we have ZERO mobility is just a kick in the teeth.
Suggestion: Let them steal Divine Steed and hear them complain about how utterly useless that spell is. The irony is real.

How exactly does Thoughtsteal work? The tooltip kinda implies you can steal whatever you want, but i guess that’s not the case?
It steals a pre-designated spell from any individual spec that has mana (castable spells), granting it to the priest for 20 seconds whilst silencing its use from the spec it was stolen from, it has a 1.5 minute CD.
Another funny thing is the iteration of Hand of Freedom the priest gets is BETTER than the paladin’s version… it just feels like Blizz is trolling us completely.

So essentially we’re being screwed over even more for being the one melee class with mana. What incompetent people are making these decisions?

15 second CD and grants 10 seconds of movement speed immunity.
What a effin joke. Shadowlands is a joke before it’s even out. One can’t even blame blizzard’s incompetence on Activision anymore.
