I’ve done research on wowhead and as far as I can tell I should be able to obtain it, HOWEVER … after about 30 runs in Neltharions Lair and no drop I’m beginning to question, hence why I am asking here should I be able to get the drop in these circuimstances :

  1. I made Void Elf rogue during BfA, leveled it to 50 just now.
  2. I have not done any legion content
  3. Just to confirm : I’ve not acquired any of the legion legendaries through quest’s
  4. I do have all 3 basic legendaries available to transmog by default
  5. I ran Nelhtarions Lair in normal difficulty
  6. Im subtlety spec
  7. I put loot specialization to outlaw
  8. Im skipping the third boss, as I can shadowstep behind the barrier

Basicly, im just a new Rogue, leveled to 50 and went to hunt for drop.

Should I be getting the drop? From wowhead I got the feeling that I should be ok. But wanted to get confirmation if im not missing anything and should just continue grind.

30 runs is nothing :D. My friend played rogue all of legion never saw it drop until BfA.

i created my rogue in bfa,
did not get a drop the first 10 runs
unlocked artifact weapons
did 3 runs as outlaw, with artifact weapons
got it

If I remember correctly you do need the some sort of starting quest with that Blue dragon lady in Stormheim

Well, I felt paranoid and did the Dreadblades quest. Then I went to Neltharions Lair again as Outlaw spec with Dreadblades on and loot set to outlaw … it dropped on first kill … Who knows.

Then I went to vault for second one, same setup … now it took 4 runs.
