Only those which can wield 1h swords I think.

i didnt mean who can wear i mean who can take the quest after getting first binding item

Those who can equip them, it would be pointless giving a quest for a BoP item to a class that couldn’t use them. But as it’s a one handed sword that pretty much covers everyone.

Pretty sure every class can do it.

But you can’t save the appearance if the class cant wield swords.

i need to take all bindings in a same char dont i ? btw i will race change for zandalari xdd

Yes.

Doesn’t matter, as long as your class can wield one-handed swords.

Priests, Shamans and Druids cant wield them, so the appearance won’t be saved.

all classes can do quest, however only those able to wield it get achievement and transmog.

You will need both Left and Right Bindings, an Essence of the Firelord (you get this when you kill ragnaros in Molten Core when you start the quest chain, can be done anytime) and you also need (and this is the expensive part,) 10 Enchanted Elementium bars. Depending on your realm (and your professions and alts so you can craft your own) Enchanted Elementium can go from 1k a bar to 25k a bar. Then you have to kill a miniboss (he was a full raid encounter in Vanilla) who spawns after you hand in the items to the quest giver in Silithus. Soon as you equip thesword you get from the dead boss you have your Thunderfury.

This toon just needs the right bindings, been hunting them for at least 2 years, my hunter already unlocked it but I would like to add the thunderfury achievement to my DK’s list of collected legendaries.

it is for 2h mace

No, Essence of the Firelord is a quest item for Thunderfury.

For the 2handed mace you need ‘‘Eye of Sulfuras’’ and the ‘‘Sulfuron Hammer’’.

allright my bad, did the quest looooong ago

as Jalak has correctly stated that is the requirements for Sulfaras, Hand of Ragnaros but it is easy to confuse the two as they were so long ago.

okay than i will go molten core with all of my characters which can equip one handed sword and i will take the quest if one of them take the any of the bindings

WEll, you’ll still need both bindings.

No real reason to start the quest until you do.

Before you do PLEASE remember they are BoE’s (Bind on Equip), not BoA’s (Bind on Account) so you will not be able to farm the other binding with multiple alts and mail a left binding to a character who has the right binding and vice versa. You will have to farm the remaining binding on the same character, however you CAN mail the enchanted elementium to your other characters.

I know it sounds like I’m stating the obvious but I’ve had one or two friends who needed to be convinced that they couldn’t farm a binding with multiple toons.

I would suggest you spend the time either crafting or farming gold to buy the enchanted elementium while farming both bindings, as the essence is a gauranteed drop for ragnaros.

The bindings will drop from Garr and the huge fire elemental who speeds around the bottom plateau (I forget his name for the moment) but are not guaranteed and can take a long time to drop.

May the RNG god smile upon you and good luck with your legendary quest.

after i get the quest will the first binding stay with my acc or do i need to drop it again ?

Nothing happens, you simply need to get the second binding as part of the quest + some additional things. It’s just no point in getting the quest until you have both.

lawl my bad. Thank you for correcting my error.
