Time to put my amazing set back on, thanks ion for keeping it rare and nice for the dedicated playerbase.
Now all we need is confirmation of brutosaur NEVER returning aswell, so the handful few stop asking for it.
And before people ask why then devalue tcg, Because blizzard doesnât profit from it anymore, only third party websites making thousands from tcg loot, so obviously blizzard has to protect their own product.
Iâm having hard time understanding how youâre perceiving yourself as such a dedicated gem, because you own T3 and the longboi. Both were esentially p2w, and both can be obtained by the biggest noobs wow has, by just buying enough tokens / gold.
I would totally get it if you would gatekeep gladiator mounts, CM rewards etc., which are you know, an actual proof of skill, rather than T3 pieces and the longboi, which can be purchased with a few âŹ.
Thatâs not even a conversation, as a multiple gladiator mount owner and 3x rank 1 titles, i would not even entertain the fact of them ever returning to the game.
Yup rolex and lambo are pay to win so they are not valuable, thatâs not a good logic to have.
Unless we read a different post it wasnât strictly implied that they wonât ever add them or anything in the future theyâd just want to make a more appropriate way to earn them than just vendor buy them. Hypothetically speaking, if this were to be a thing in the game, we would take a much more judicious approach to availability of these crafts as to opposed to something like ZG. It should take significant investment and dedication as well as a bit of a gold sink to get all of this together so that ideally people feel like they have more control over chasing the appearances that they want from some legacy content.
Also I believe we talk about the same brutosaur mount that was announced mid expansion that it would disappear at the end of BFA so wow tokens sky rocketed for people to get it before it was gone?
Yeah, datamining reveals some interesting things. Itâs something weâve been exploring through the profession system broadly looking at no longer obtainable appearances. Old ones from ZG are ones weâve touched on in the past. Enterprising adventurers and explorers who poke around in 10.1.5 looking at some of the related old content may find some interesting things there. When it comes to Tier 3, weâre also very mindful of the fact of there are players out there who have spent millions of gold on the Black Market Auction House cobbling those sets together over years. Thereâs also folks who have these as their most prized possession from having raided vanilla Naxx forever ago. But someone who already got it all from the Black Market Auction House isnât looking at this and saying 'well that sucks and I feel like my investment has been devalued by this changeâ.
What Ion is saying it that if they decide to do it, they will make it expensive so that the BMAHers wont moan as loudly.
This is no confirmation of denial, just lawyer speak for them to not be bound by any commitments for yes or no.
Do not be like the Pineapple maniacs (the best part is the reaction of the rich guy he heard that the working class could afford pineapples now)
He just says they will take significant time and investment to obtain if they do come back.
So like they are on BMAH now, you can be bidding millions of gold for them. You would expect to pay the same sort of amount, and a lengthy farm to get them.
Maybe next time read the article you are linking to, because Ion did not say Tier 3 wonât be returning.

Nowhere does it say âThey are not coming backâ, what it does say is that IF they were to return it would be a massive grind.
all i can say is good! now we only need cm and magetower, bruto for other people and i can live in peace.
all new players hear is sorry they removed it from the game. i was once a new players and also got that answer for t3, cm, magetower stuff. glad i swipped my card fast enough for bruto back in the day which is pretty sad tbh. but 5 mil in 2 months was impossible for new players
You talk as if this is the majority of items, rather than a few items here and there.
New players have to be digging pretty hard through some resources to be finding old T3, CM and Mage Tower stuff. To the point where they probably arnt really new anymore.
I must say that WoW had been lacking so far in the department of long term goals/grinds that are not a weekly RNG low drop rate pilgrimage. Perhaps they can come up with something interesting here.
Yeh, but creating new and unique grinds is much better than using on and low quality assets.
There was a thread on r/wow the other day moaning about how long it takes to get Shadowlands cosmetics. Well there is your long term goal/grind. They exist, we just do them are the game moves on.
Oh I am fully aware itâs gonna be a thing eventually no matter what some certain individuals think.
Would prefer though to be something to farm it instead of being an amazon prime/twitch drop.
Oh I had forgotten about those because I was trying to bury every memory of SL.
I will come back to them when the SL raids are soloable.
We can only pray that the people who made the 10.1 armor models will keep introducing new sets.
Just the green sets and weapons from 10.1 look better than some raid gear from the previous 2 expansions.
