the power creep is often endless - I still remember people using past tier 2-sets because they were so powerful.
I also remember rogues using past xpacs tier sets before pull, using some abiltiieiss, vanish, switch gear to current tier, keeping some tier bonuses etc. lol

Imagine I can have the tier set and still hate the idea behind it. But you are too stupid to understand these little subtle things.
Uhm, no? You could just spam dungeons (yes! dungeons with LFD, hence really easy) and you were done quickly by converting currency and running instanced world bosses. Even my lowest twinks always had 2-set boni back then from those.
Nope, yeah you remember one specific time when they changed it to that system for a bit it got changed to not be like that very quickly after that.
The valor system was not ONE system it was changed many times.
For most of the time you could not farm valor you had a CAP each week or each day in how much you could get it took weeks to get tier set from the system.
People complained they had to log on each day to do their daily dungeon for the valor.
And you say really easy well you can do 8 dungeons a week in +2 right now and have 6% times 3 to get tier gear just from dungeons.
Then you can do pvp and lfr to get chances for tier.
without master loot, with less classes per token, with personal loot, with ilvl locked on tier slots (normal vs hc)
all these are extremely introsive to get and spread even 2set tiers on players.
it was very comon in legion for people to even afford 4set and 2set from previous tier. or even 2set+2set
Tier sets are the best. What we need is the tokens to not be slot specific and master loot back. Not being able to trade heroic tier because you already have normal sucks.
You could get one piece in two weeks for certain.
So if you were unlucky you could at least fill the spot over time from the beginning. So 2pc in a month as a worst case scenario. In my current raid we have people who are still waiting for 2pc while others have 5 and the absurdity of not being able to trade a piece when you didn’t had it already is another flaw.
Try harder, but vendors are superior in any way to what garbage we have right now.
Echo doesn’t like this system as well by the way. So casuals and rwf raiders have a common point, yet it stays like this and feedback is once again not heard by some stubborn devs.

The tier sets needs to be added into vendor for currency
and you fix with that all problems
but unfortunately they instead of that created cataclyst where you can create 1 piece per week
and that method is gated for some REASON till 13 april…
they lost in the eyes of community once again.
Maybe in 10.0 they will go the player friendly way and let us control what we do instead of playing their route and their TEMPO…
its not only gate keeping here and now. its in worst case for rest of the season, once u are behind on IO. it could be a nightmare to climbt on. im happy i just set goals to time 20 this season. and im gonna be honest here, i might not even bother to do that, being behind due to tier sets is no my fault. so why should i have to live in a nightmare.
