Well, look at it this way, you can jump stealth every time and if it fails you don’t lose anything since you pull the mob anyway. On top of that you can FF from Prowl as well,so you have literally nothing to lose and you can gain a Ravage if you pull it off.
You lose speed if it did not work, that is the problem, time you wasted trying to get behind enemy, while you could have simply run to it with 30% increased movement speed and start doing damage, or use any other pulling method that does not involve you even going to enemy.
If you really think (at most) 5 seconds of stealth for 10-25% of a mobs health isn’t worth it you’re nuts. You also take less damage because the mob dies quicker, which means you need to spend less mana healing, which allows you to maintain the fight/heal cycle and never need to drink.
I’m just repeating myself at this point. If you don’t want to use the tools gifted to you, don’t.
Only useful for big ravages on mages sitting down.
Do what is best for you, I am talking about what is faster, show me any guide that tells to use stealth for leveling and I might consider it as option.
1)It’s worth using while prowling before ravage (which is pretty obvious).
2)If you’re running after someone, it is also a good idea due to energy regeneration.
3)If you have full energy - activate it and use claw/rake, so overall dps will be higher (but you will get less CP, which is pretty unnecessary in dungeons).
