Those are the kinds of people no one minds alienating.
If you think it’s a political cause, you should really visit Bakhmut.
Good idea, Blizzard!
I feel that way about gnome posters but blizzard still allows them on the forum /sigh
Bought a pet and made a donation to bluecheck too.
Well, they could help this theoretically, but it is true. I do tend to avoid inviting people from Russian realms because it is crucial to me that they can understand .
If I do invite one they get a hi, and they get a question of some kind that doesn’t test them on the game, but requires them to understand me. If they fail to reply, I remove them and start again. I’ve done this since mid Shadowlands and, although it seems unpopular with some on the forums, it is very effective.
I also do the same with people from other countries at times. I always say hi and if I get nothing I might write something. Last week I had a team who could only speak German. Kind of annoying. Fortunately… I know a little German so they got away with it. Don’t know any Russian though.
I could have linked Asmongold reacts and you have said " Did you seriously link Asmongold as a legitimate information source?"
I could have linked Bellular and Taliesin and Evitel about it. You would have still said " Did you seriously linked Bellular , Taliesin and Evitel as a legitimate information source?
No way to win with you people , there’s a thing called google , there’s a thing called bing. Do you own damn research.
Yes all 3 content creators reacted to Blizz stealing the prize pool money.
Nice one!
It’s a nice pet, Altho i have yet to see a single person ingame who also has it, besides myself, So i came here to see if anyone else had it as it started to feel weird. Nice to see i’m not alone
I’ve not seen any yet either, will definitely post a screenshot once I get mine.
Plenty of people have it, you can always check peoples profiles if they don’t have it hidden and search for it under collection.
I’ve seen about 3 people with Sunny in-game so far.
Flurky is also a nice pet. It’s the exact same as the original Murky pet from Blizzcon 2005 but with a flower which is awesome haha. It will be my main pet in Classic from now on. I’ve always wanted Murky
Great idea.
But on the russian-language forum, Blizzrad’s policy is not aimed at supporting Ukraine, unfortunately. And, despite the sanctions against belarus and russia, players from sanctioned countries somehow pay for Blizzard’s services.
So you can see some hypocrisy on the part of the company or its individual representatives (imho)
Well there’s this:
Which, it turns out, is a surprisingly pleasant read. Mostly.
Excellent initiative! I don’t normally spend money on pets, mounts, or cosmetics, but in this case I did not hesitate for even a second! Doing my microscopically tiny part in helping Ukrainians has been an ongoing process for me since the invasion first started, so I’m happy to have another way to give some support to the victims of this horrendous war. I’ll continue helping and donating until Ukraine wins (which I fully believe they will!), and in the meantime I’ll be happy to bring Sunny with me to all the raids and dungeons I do.
I am the creator of the topic on the Russian forum. It’s just awful what’s going on there. Some filial hell on the forum. The strangest thing is that people who write nasty things are not banned. And they, in turn, are proud of themselves and the fact that they are supported by the game masters of Blizzard and continue to write.
If they’re supported by Blizzard, maybe they’re not wrong then? Or there are only 2 types of opinion - yours and wrong?
That is, insulting people on the basis of hostility to nationality, language or orientation, is that correct?
So, if I got this right, a person on russian-speaking forum was bragging about insulting someone on the basis of hostility to nationality, language or orientation, and that actions were heavily supported by game masters of Blizzard, or you are just making things up right now for likes and attention?
