At about 7:30 pm on the 5th of September I killed the Time-Lost Proto drake … (with my pg Azameth server Nemesis) unfortunately the latter, being in flight, fell in a point where it was not possible for me to loot (out of range). I ask for your support as it doesn’t seem fair to me not to get the loot because of a bug after all the hours of play I have dedicated to that mob.
I assume you have logs and will verify what happened but I have screenshots to prove it.
I look forward to your intervention.

I did this ticket but GM reply me that is not possible to restore the loot… it seems very unfair…

You realise that GM’s are the final arbiters of all issues? Not forum staff?
Forum staff cannot overrule a decision made by a GM. Only another (more senior) GM can. The only course that you can take is either accept it, or mark the ticket as unresolved, and ask for it to be escalated.
However going by other people who have had the same issue, the answer will not be changed.

In the forum there are a lot of GMs that can read and the other reason why i created a thread is to discuss about what happened.
What do you mean about “ask for it to be escalated”?
There are exactly zero GM’s on the forums.
The blues are forum staff, not GM’s.
There might be some GM’s who read the forums on their own time, but they will not be able to discuss anything in a GM capacity on their own time.
Escalated means “raised up”, to ask for something to be escalated, means to ask to be able to speak to someone more senior.

I would suggest you reopen the ticket. Unless things have changed, a GM should be able to restore it.
If you pull a mob nearby and kill it then loot it you can AoE loot it.

We fully appreciate how difficult this mount is to obtain and the frustration you experienced when you did not receive loot from the kill you participated in with other players from Emerald Dream, Ravencrest, Quel’Thalas, and Grim Batol.
I can see that you’ve contacted several times on this and received the answer. I can see also that the matter was indeed investigated, and reviewing that investigation, we concur with it’s findings. Unfortunately as this is a secret/rare with it’s own unique mechanics, we cannot divulge specifics, sorry.
We wish you luck on your next attempt, and all your loot in general.

ah yeah, remove my post where i say that its the development team fault if such a rare NPC can be killed and lay down in a non-lootable/unreachable zone, lol
They should totally investigate if he got the kill and award the loot, its just frustrating to see them acting this way!!
have you even considered what are the chances and the effort he will need to be able to get the kill again?!

It doesn’t matter if he is Italian, these are the English language forums. If he wishes to use his native language, then Blizzard do actually provide an Italian language forum.
Before you cry “racism”, its not racism, its simply because the staff on the English language forums don’t speak Italian.
Basically there’s something we don’t know about or s/he’s not telling us. It’s not something they used to refuse so there will be a reason.

This happened to me with aeonaxx in january 2014, luckily I was able to dismount and loot while falling, died straight after to fall damage, took like 3 mins to loot, and looting was harder than anything else, even the search was pretty easy cause I did it on die todeskrallen, which back then was a crz free realm with 100-150 people online at peak, before connections.
Sounds like there is a valid reason why you couldn’t loot it but they can’t say why because that would give the game away. My guess is that the risk of not being able to loot it is part of the challenge.
