Time stops in game and after 20-ish seconds "rewind" really fast

In group content game lags out remembering my actions, after short time it rewinds fast to the current state of the enoucnter. I have stable internet connection through cable.

It’s on Blizzard’s end since this February. They’ve refused to comment / fix this issue despite multiple threads reporting this.

You can see the exact problem on the screenshot in this thread if you want to know what’s a de facto issue behind it (though you can’t do anything about it, Blizzard needs to fix this and they just… won’t, apparently):

tbh if it was on blizzard’s end then everyone would have the issue.
as i see it this issue is between you and the servers and since blizzard dosent control the entire internet or being your ISP then they cant resolve it.

So does anyone know what should i do? I’m on discord while playing, and when i have such sitations i can still normally talk with people there, and i quickly checked my browser if it works during that lags and it did. I don’t have such problems in other games so maybe i can do sth to make it work better

You do realise that, discord servers, and Wow Servers are in totally different locations in the world, right? Why would you expect the network routing to be identical for both?

Thats like expecting ALL the bus services to go to ALL the same bus stops.

I understand what u saying. but it was supposed to be a reply for it’s not blizzard fault it is mine. How is it my problem when i have good internet connection

have you contacted your ISP and asked if they have any problems or do you just assume since it work on discord that it is stable and good?

Yup. I also tested other online games. No such a problem

so basicly it is blizzard’s fault?
nice that your pc and ISP work flawlessly but apperently you dont know how it works since there is many hoops between you and blizzard’s servers and your ISP can see alot more data than you can but even your ISP cant see the entire conection to blizzard’s servers and since there is several hoops then as i wrote earliere the fault is between you and blizzard servers and most likely through several countries.

Okay. Never said it was Blizzard fault so no idea why u try to “protect” their good name. I asked for some tips what can i do to solve this problem not arguing whose fault is it. So either give me some tips what i can do either please leave the discussion

i dont know where you get that from that i am trying to protect their name.
you was asking and i answered but you just keep blaming everyone else than yourself.
you have provided zero information that could help at all like a trace route but you keep saying that discord and other games works so therefor it isnt your pc nor your ISP.
i already gave you some tips but again you dont wanna do them since you havent contacted your ISP about the issue or they are really bad since again there is several hoops between you and blizzard’s servers.

have you tried setting your network mask to either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4?

I have no idea how to do it. I just contacted few days ago my ISP and they said everything is ok. (Friday i guess) i have no idea what you are talking about but if u could explain it in a “nooby” way i would be happy to follow your instructions

first thing is noob and newbie isnt the same :sunglasses: noob is the exact opposite of newbie and is very bad :sunglasses:
but which kind of windows do you use?
if it is windows 10/11 go under you network card and choose properties and you should see something at the bottom with subnet mask where it is normally set to auto but you can change that to manual and then put in the adress yourself.
the subnet mask 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4/1.1.1.1 is google and should help pinpointing where the issues are.

depending on the language of your windows it might show up as DNS.
but be sure you choose tcp/ipv4 protocol you choose properties for :sunglasses:

U have Discord maybe? I have no idea where to look for it
Mine is kosmaty. Feel free to add me

tbh it is better we do it here since others can see what we have tried and come up with other suggestions :sunglasses:
but go under control panel.
then under network.
then under change network adapter.
the right click on your network adapther and choose properties.
then a little window pop up whre several connections.
from that list choose tcp/ipv4 and mark and it choose properties.
then another little windows pop up where you can change it.
use the bottom one that says DNS and set it to manual and try 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4/1.1.1.1.
if none of them work you can set it back to auto and everything will go back to as it was.

I have windows 10 btw

but have you had this issue since friday?

Since the patch on wednesday
