On topic… I think that boosting someone is the same as playing the game for them.

We should play the game for ourselves and not for others.

I do not think that blizzard should cater to boosters with a channel for them to spam in.
I think that blizzard should silence people for spamming boost advertisements in chat channels and ban them from advertising in the group finder tool.

If you think otherwise, please do not accuse me of wrong doing as someone else did here.

Was “boosting for real cash” ever part of the topic? I feel like “Time to ban boosts for gold” where the person advertised to ban people boosting for gold, is the opposite of “boosting for real cash”.

RMT is already a bannable offense and while it is still around, if you have any names or accounts who are actively boosting for real money, forward any information to Blizzard and actions will be taken.

Yes its allready bannable offence sadly players who buy services from shady sites not ofcourse report to blizzard anything because they are doing something what is illegal.

When I read threads like these (which tbh is like 80% of these forums anyways), I think Blizzard should just make a policy that automatically locks you out from posting in a thread after you’ve made like 40 responses or so. It probably won’t improve the quality of the forums but some of these topics are interesting and it would make getting caught up on stuff way less of a slog.

PLEASE check yourselves if you’re one of these people. There is no feasible way for you to contribute ANYTHING meaningful to a topic after 10 responses MAX. You’re not discussing the complete works of Shakespeare or quantum physics, this is a video game discussion forum. I see an interesting topic, with an active discussion, just to find out moments after clicking it that it’s 2-3 people “arguing” (saying the same things over and over again) for 100 posts.
