It isn’t any different in many people’s opinions.
My point being: Why talk to ban people for doing something that’s already a bannable offense?
Why would you talk about RMT in a thread where the entire topic is “boosts for gold” rather than real money?
Obviously the people doing the illegal thing won’t report it themselves, but what good does it do to say “Hey, ban people doing the thing that people are already getting banned for when caught!”?
Either help catching them by providing Blizzard with information, or if you don’t have any, like most people, understand that it’s very difficult to find information or evidence about people taking part in real money trading and thus the process of banning people might be somewhat slow.
The title is “Time to ban boosts for gold” and the OP states why they think that blizzard should do so. The “entire topic” isn’t “boosts for gold”.
Boosts have a negative impact on the players, if they are sold for cash or gold, the negative impacts are still the same.
if you ban boosting for gold may as well ban people boosting their friends for free

Apparently me and you are the same person (Evan here btw) even though we have different achivements and so on and so forth . I find it a real shame a person has to resort to slanderous accusations about me and you .
It should be made significantly harder to boost people. That should reduce the number of boosters going around.

Servers are empty because there is nothing to do. Not because someone buys +15. If I didn’t boost people through +15, you’d have more people to play with but then you’d complain they’re bad at the game.

Most people barely make gold without spending a lot of time.
Envy is the reason people hate boosters. As well as because they think it’s booster’s fault that they can’t time +15.
So boosting is killing the game, not the lack of content, alright bro. Use that pin for your own head.

I don’t care how much gold you made. If I want gold then I will buy a WoW token and sell it on the auction. Or go farm some mobs. Not go scamming other players lol.
How is it scam ? I offer a service for in-game gold. The ones that buy it know what the transaction is and agree to it, then the service is done accordingly. Where is the scam part ?

Your rio page. Never timed a +15 as I predicted, you fall under the category of complainers that are bad at the game.
You have 218 ilvl after months of the patch being out, meaning you don’t really play the game either.
So you barely play and also play bad, I see why you complain now.
Edit: Also 3/10 HC with AOTC, I guess you got boosted for that ? Last time you stepped foot in the raid was 2 months ago.
Edit 2: You also play a death knight and have WOTLK title. I assume you’re also one of those people that say WOTLK was the peak of wow and now the game is crap because of boosters and because they added LFG. You’re probably fairly old too.

It is a scam because, many players feel as though they need to have the achievement in advance - in order to be accepted to groups Or Guilds that they wish to join. This applies mostly to raids but it also applies to dungeons and PvP.
I don’t really need to go into more detail than that. You know why it is a scam. You know what you are doing is boosting players who can’t get accepted into groups unless they already have an achievement or dungeon score to show people.
Like when twitch streamers start giving players free boosts if they go and watch their stream. They are playing on the same factor. The majority of their viewers don’t actually want to watch them, they are just trying to get a free boost so that they can then be accepted into other groups.
Stop trying to get a reaction out of me by goading and insulting me.

Where is the trick or scheme when both parties hold a transaction and receive their part of the deal ? I’m not in a transaction or have any duty towards the M+ community to not boost players cause they might have a hard time in +15 (I get the feeling you feel I scam the M+ community like I have a duty towards hundreds of random players).
You still didn’t tell me what’s the problem. Is your every attempt at timing +15 failed because there’s a boosted guy in your run ? How do you know that person is boosted and not just bad ? How do you know that you aren’t the bad one ?
I didn’t insult you. I literally showed you with proof that you don’t play this game too much and you aren’t very good either, yet have a big mouth and complain. You don’t put any effort into getting better, but instead shift the blame on boosters for your lack of skill in game.
The only thing I agree with is that it’s ridiculous to have boost advertising in the LFG tool.

I have no jealousy at all, I don’t care how much gold you have, as I told you. Yet you still continued to flaunt it and then went on to insult my gameplay. So yea.

Again, this is the third time I tell you. You complain about boosting destroying the game, while in the same time (it’s fact, check links a few posts above) you don’t do well either in raiding or M+, which means you’re of fairly average skill in WoW. You also don’t play this game too often because you aren’t even 220 ilvl yet after months of the patch, yet you complain that boosters destroy your gaming experience.
If you want to reply again, please stick to the points, not beat around the bush to avoid the main point.
