Most mobs have a base respawn timer of 5 min, but are are increased based on the number or players in the area, that is fine. For release they wanted to reduce the 40 min que most had on HC before official servers, for the named quests mobs, so they set them to like 20 or 30 sec or somethign like that. That was a great decision. But now the number of people are decreased and the super fast respawn does create a problem sometimes.
F.eks. If you are a warlock in the gnome area, all but 1 of the mobs you need require you to go past the named char. But you don’t have time to kill him and run to a safe area behind him before he respawn so you have to wait for that 1 mob to respawn or fight 2-3 mobs at once.
Similar problems can be find everywhere. Could it be an idea to increase the respawn timer of named mobs to maybe 1 or 2 min or putting them on dynamic respawn too? The super fast respawn made sense the first 2-3 days, but now it’s a bit over the top.
