Im wondering if there is some items I should farm for my chars to use while doing timewalking?
I think I heard about some legendaries before but they might not be in game anymore.

I think legion legendaries are still obtainable and work.
also Shadowmourne questline is still active and obtainable, it also works in any dungeon at 80 and below.
Warglaives also work, if the TW is tbc.
MoP legendary back works, but is no longer obtainable.
WoD legendary ring I think works, but is no longer obtainable.
Azerite traits from your Azerite armor work.
Also, in timewalking socketed items are significantly stronger than non socketed items.
Some items are scaled differently in time walking and can be super powerful, for example the MoP engineering rocket used to be super strong in scaling content, specifically Proving grounds, I think it was strong in Time walking too, never tried.
On the topic of engineering, engineering should give you some big benefits, in timewalking.
While things like the MoP cloak is very useful, it is indeed no longer obtainable. The ‘legiondaries’ from, of course, Legion can be useful too though and can still be obtained if you’re willing to farm for them.
Earlier legendaries like the warglaives can actually also be used in the lower of the timewalking dungeons too.
There is a good post/guide for tw bis from reddit:
I’ve tested the staff from firelands, and wasnt that impressed.Still remain to be seen. But tldr:wod ring lego is bad, everything with socket is really really good.
I use the legion legendaries, they’ll be weaker than they used to as their ilvl scale but you keep the effet and that’s all that matter.
Iirc the warglaives can be used for BC timewalking but only the set effect matter as their stats are scaled down like any other item.
dont say it loud or they will nerf them into oblivion like they did with all others
They’re still there.
Honestly just keep them, and buy useful ones. they make timewalking more tolerable.
These are my best tips to improve a character for Timewalking:
There are of course legendary items you can farm through various raids and all are still obtainable, except the Mists of Pandaria cloaks and Warlords of Draenor rings.
Also you can browse through the Dungeon Journal to see which non-legendary items you could acquire which are the best you can equip for Timewalking events. The best pieces are usually those with sockets, as they provide much better stats with gems than gear without sockets. The best gear with the most sockets drop from Dragon Soul and from Mists of Pandaria raids, most notably Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar Mythic. The best gems are the ones from The Burning Crusade, they are cheap to make and have the same stats as every other expansion, but if I remember only epic gems from Cataclysm has slightly better stats, but definitely not by much- and they are much, much more expensive.
Choosing the right enchants and stat-gems for your spec is usually not the same as choosing the right stats at max level, as you will loose a lot of your secondary stat values when you are scaled down so that they have much lower percentage stats than you had at higher levels. If you had let’s say 30% critical chance at level 120, you could perhaps only have 15% at level 70 with the same gear. I would therefor recommend to use gems and enchants to boost the most important secondary stat to a good value, and when you are satisfied you should focus on your primary stat: strength, intellect, agility or stamina.
Thanks alot for the replies! As im fairly new (started with bfa expac) I most read up on some stuff like legion legendaries (for me its the free weapons you get at 110)?
Regards.
