Timewalking Dungeon Rotation & Addon Tips for a New Tank

Hey everyone,

This is my first post, so please bear with me! I did have a read through the terms and code of conduct, so I hope I’m not missing anything.

I’m fairly new to tanking (still learning the ropes), but I’ve been having a blast with it! I even created a toon called “Noobtankx” – because, well, I’m still pretty much a peon compared to the seasoned players out there! :sweat_smile:

Anyway, I’ve been running a lot of Timewalking dungeons lately, and I’ve noticed that not all 19 dungeons listed on WoWHead seem to be in rotation at once. I’ve been mostly running Stratholme and a few others, but I was wondering if there’s a way to know which specific dungeons are active during each Timewalking event. I’m hoping to optimize my runs for TSM transmogs and mats, all while having a good time.

Does anyone know of any addons or tools that can help track the current dungeon rotation? Or any tips on where to check for future rotations? I’d really appreciate any advice from the experts!

The dungeons on a given TW week all belong to the same expansion. The rotation is fixed and there is a TW week once every 3 weeks normally (the other 2 weeks no TW is available).

For November and December this year and up to Jan 6 there is a special event with Classic TW during the 2 weeks which are normally empty.

To know which TW is going to be up check in your “in game calendar” top right of your screen when you play.

Thanks for the info! I didn’t realize the dungeons rotate by expansion like that. I’ll definitely check the in-game calendar to keep track of the rotations. Appreciate the help!
