[Timewalking] Dungeons Limited Availability

Hi,

I really enjoy doing timewalking dungeons but I noticed that every expansion only has a few of their dungeons enabled. So I end up doing the same couple of dungeons over and over instead of enjoying everything that time period has to offer. Why is this?

The Burning Crusade has 6/16 dungeons enabled
Wrath of the Lich king has 6/16 dungeons enabled
Cataclysm has 6/14 dungeons enabled
Mists of Pandaria has 6/9 dungeons enabled
Warlords of Draenor has 6/8 dungeons enabled
Legion has 6/13 dungeons enabled

Why so few? Especially TBC and WOTLK can be so much more diverse…

There is a lot of wasted potential with timewalking, like dungeons and fights some people have never seriously fought (soloing the dungeons 20 levels later doesn’t count).

It seems blizzard have changed their stance on timewalking and in their eyes timewalking = m+. I would not even be surprised if next expansion we would not even get a single new dungeon and m+ would be just upscaled tw content.
For example this season we got HoV which is not available on normal tw mode. In s4 we got Karazhan and Iron Docks. I think going forward that is how they imagine tw: seasonal m+ content replacement.

Shadowlands’ legion timewalking was the finest concept because it gave ppl a choice of current content vs old content by giving keystone for each during the legion TW events. All they had to do is disciplining the loot a little bit so they are never absolutely bis (since they are time limited events).

They should have expanded on that by adding m+ to each expansion slowly, but surely and making timewalking a separate event from other weeklies, so we get a tw each week. Also as a final touch could have added the remaining ones which were not already available. But they’ve chosen the easiest route of all unfortunately.

They sometimes rotate dungeons. I think with the current tuning issues every single timewalking week it’s not worth having more…
