hi i was in a timewalking dungeon to lvlup my alt as tank, got to last boss and lock pulled out voidwalker votekicked me when boss was 5% hp with his premade while stopdps just to have a laugh and i didn’t get the 80k exp reward for completing the dungeon, hi.
no way to get back at this guy, because the game is designed like this.
People never kick anyone with no reason. You’re not telling us the whole story. If you was a bad tank, they had the right to kick you. Nothing personal
In what world kicking a tank on last boss 5% is ok, even if he was a total garbage.
There are ways to deal with situations and way NOT to.
We kick people while doing expeditions as well, while I do understand it’s LFG and objectively, WE are wrong for kicking them, at the start of each expedition, we let them know that all they have to do is collect, I fully understand that’s not what they might be looking for, but us, as premades, hold the power (and for the right reasons, we optimize IEs and finish fast) and, for better or for worse, you do as we say, just like we do as you say when we’re in your group…all because the fear of the kick.
That’s to show how complex situations get, where intentions aren’t clear and obviously everyone has their own story in which they’re the hero.
Point is, there’s no system in WoW where your real name is provided and you have something to lose if you behave like an idiot, this will always keep happening because people assume they’re anonymous (hint: you’re not) and act harshly.
Nothing you can do, because if you could’ve, you wouldn’t make this post. Just move on.

I do not think it is even possible to kick during combat.
Or it is no idea at this point a do it a lot when i notice someone doing something … just cba to say XYZ .

like someone say, if u want to kick someone, do it, waiting 5% on a boss stop dps and votekick is rly for special snowflakes
Just because it never happened to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. There are premades who go around and kick the random person in the group just because they think it’s funny.
I often leave after the first boss (to avoid deserter) if I see a guild premade, but it also depends on their names/servers and the way they act (you can generally tell if they look like a pack of can’t-say-whats). Also you can kick during combat, they changed that awhile ago because people used to keep the group in combat as a kick protection
they were complaining because it was a timewalking and i was lvl 99 or 100 and i was wearing heirlooms upgraded for lvl 90 so i wasn’t pulling more than 5-6 mobs at a time, they wanted fast clear and they got back at me like that

Wtb old lfg system where people respect each other and having fun in group was more important than quick clear. Lfg gears were worth something in raids.
These mythics kinda ruined lfg.

Hey consider this for a second and perhaps you might learn something today. Maybe you were being a complete and utter jerk during the whole dungeon (not a bad tank necessarily, but a bad person) because one of them pulled 2 more mobs than you thought you could handle, while never even coming close to a wipe. So since you didn’t know they were premade because they were from different servers, you were acting all high and mighty, trying to blackmail them with your “tank status”, waiting around, trying to let them die if they made any mistake (thank god the healer who wasn’t premade didn’t think you were acting nice either) and you “punished” them by purposefully wiping the group 3 times so these three 27 year olds had enough and decided they would in turn “punish” you back. Afterwards you proved, once again how mature you are by whispering to them and I quote “I hope you get cancer and die”, “die you cancerous kid”, as in wishing a person actually dies of freaking cancer because they hurt you in a video-game is always the best course of action.
Let us pretend for a moment that this person was actually a 15, or a 12 or a 10 year old. Is that what you would have told an actual 10 year old? WIsh him/her to get cancer and die? I pity you. It is true, hiding behind a fake identity makes some people act in incomprehensible ways, letting the most vulgar and disgusting aspects of their personality out, all the while believing they are “the heroes” as someone above mentioned. Well go on hero, congratulations. Try and get back to these “kids”.
P.S. They did not stop dps to have a laugh, they were waiting so as to be able to kick you before boss died and deprive you of the 80k XP. A very very small price to pay for being the person you are and acting the way you acted.

i would kick you also if i saw u was in low gear, going slow and caused wipes.
its a lvling instance, 5 mobs pull aren’t enough ? i didn’t cause whipes, they caused whipes from overpulling.

Stand still for 10 seconds, you’ll get votekicked.
The healer wasn’t able to heal the party throughout the entire fight but you’re 2nd on the damage meter but the 3rd one is guildie… you’ll get voted off for a higher dps.
People make up all sorts of excuses that create the problem the op is trying to point out.
And you defending is will most likely point out you’re exactly one of those typical players that abuse it for their own satisfactory of harassing.
Then your no better then them, likely you kept being a idiot during the run

Kicking randomly is not nice. And it should not be possible during combat (as it once was).
But stuff like that leads to bans. Don’t do it.
Yeah really don’t know what happened there and as it seems you are both guilty imo. Having kicked on last boss is just ugly move and losing your sh!t over the game is no less ugly.
Anyway…
P.S. so many elitists posting here. Kicking people for not pulling enough on leveling dungeon in wow is just funny. We are all here to have our fun if you are looking for epic group get premade with your tank. And don’t ruin others experience of the game because you have no paitance to sit one dungeon with someone who is not “as good” as you.
