Who’s the content aimed at? what sort of audience?
thought it was a casual “revisiting” of old dungeons to experience them but honestly, timewalking is harder than +13 mythic plus.
this was mentioned during TBC timewalking week and now same applies to Wotlk. can something be done about it? its simply not enjoyable but only way to get rewards from it is doing them.
aside from that Adds are REAAAAALLY strong, while Bosses melt and I soloed few bosses…
its just… I dont know. was the “squish” tested? because feels like it wasnt.

It rly hasnt been tested.
Bosses are weak like you say.
Trash are HP sponges .
But the main problem is yet again the trash has ablities we cant deal with anymore due to the pruneing .
Interupts and dispells are a pain.
One thing for DK though always remember to control undead the huge skeletons in PoS really helps on trash .
And the spellflingers in that place full of spiders do insane damage. Forgot name of dungeon as sleepy but kill them or cc then or chain interuppt as they hurt or get ur undead spell on them.

Realistically; how many current players - aside from Dg. spamming levellers - even remember how these fights are meant to be done? That’s if they even unlocked them while levelling (IcC ones, that is)…
Not (current) Mythic Raiders…

yeah bosses feel like adds havent wiped on a single boss. but overall its soooooooo badly pruned add wise. I’d lie if I said I personally struggle but group definitely does and it just feels soooo anti-fun.
aside from that its a content that should be aimed at casual playerbase, and in 2 out of 3 runs people didnt know what bloodlust was and similar stuff.
the fact that I had easier time in +13 dungeons than timewalking speaks for itself.
yeah that’s my point. its supposed to be a casual content that’s fun and entertaining. but i had easier time in +13 dungeons. its pure anti-fun.

Work on the iL of thew gear that drops… there’s yer target audience.
OK; it may vary with where on the 81-120 scale you are, but…
Its gone from mindless fun of doing 5 dungeons in a hour with friends to more like 3 hours of torture because of the trash .

pretty much. and I have just 1 mount out of timewalkings. 20k left for mounts only and then another that much for toys and pets. fun.
The “Weekly Reward” for my (356) DK is a Uldir-N item; my guess would be that your version of that may be the only possible salvation for the whole TW Event.
I’d bet mine would be a lesser version of a piece than I already have… :-/
i would agree it is the scaling. when we were stat squished in BfA prepatch or whenever, some people had issues clearing ICC on mount runs, or the bosses were not getting one shot at max lvl. this scaling issue probably passed over to TW. also, TBC and cata dungeons ALWAYS needed cc, and while WotLK didn’t need AS much, it still needed some, like as mentioned above, the spell flingers one shot you. the dungeon was Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom btw.
They did when ‘current’ too… or did you mean T/w…?
blizz have balanced time walking ( or at least tried too… ) around the idea that people would use the powerful legion artifacts and/or raid set bonuses.
sounds good on paper i guess… but what happens when you enter a group full of leveling chars with no such bonuses? it becomes a slow, boring chore to go through the dungeons.
lower the amount of dungeons need for the quest to 3-4.
Do any set Bonuses still work…? Dunno I got any full Legion sets to remember, or whether it’s 'cos I’m an old f… person.
i’m pretty sure they do. at least they did last time this event was up and i was leveling my 110 lock with azerite shoulders, legion legendary belt, ring, some set bonuses and the legendary cloak from mist of pandaria.
i was always doing 1-2 times more dps on boss fights than everyone else. 1 guy wanted to kick me for ’ hacking ’ at some point lol.
Do Legion set bonuses still work, or did they get ‘switched off’ with BfA release?
Agreed, I was furiously trying to type and explain and heal at the same time earlier, a futile exercise.
We also had to kick a mage from the group who kept pulling before the tank, and usually just when I needed to drink as well.
The BC adds were crazy a couple of weeks ago, and as you say the bosses could be knocked over with a feather.
I played Wrath that long ago, I could have forgotten more about its’ Dg.'s than many know.
That Mage reminds me of what I used to do to my step-son who Tanked for Guild runs… I’d pull summat & run towards him… to be greeted with a tirade of, “What the f*** have you done? LOL”

Was on discord with 4 mates doing them earlier. We were all in stitches laughing, how ridiculously over tuned they are. Like you said the trash is way harder then an m+10. And the bosses just melt. I was gonna say they are about 2x as powerful as they should be. Honestly think it’s more closer to 4x.
Tanking on a blood DK was horrific, every pack with 5+ mobs, was literally spamming heals and death strike to survive. Didn’t even have time to lay DnD or anything else down. As it was literally a case of the stupid GCD making so I had to spam heals, was going from 50%-10% in the time I could cast one skill. With a druid spamming heals on me.
Definitely sounds like too much ‘pain’ for a solitary piece of Uldir Normal gear to get 5 done.
As TW no longer awards a seal I haven’t really touched them this expansion. Is this more scaling issues?
