Several new cosmetic appearance purchases have been added at a cost of 1000+ with the latest content update.
However, many items with IDENTICAL LOOKS were previously already obtainable from the same vendor in a form of an actual equippable item with stats and not a just as a clickable cosmetic icon box, all at a low cost not exceeding 100 badges.
Many less experienced players might not have noticed this issue because of class filters in place so they are likely to end up wasting a lot of hard earned badges because they simply couldn’t see a much better deal with their default view of the wares only two pages to the right.
To me it looks like the person who did the update isn’t even aware that transmog restrictions for unusable items and items limited to other classes have completely been lifted already, otherwise why put in TWO versions of the item for TWO different prices?
Also for many other items it is simply impossible to tell at a first glance if you have the appearance or not. Only after you buy the the item and is enters your bag does the tooltip properly update to say if you have it or not, but then you have to potentially deal with another problem, sometime not being able to refund the item back.
Come on, try to do better next time.
As usual, and I’m repeating this for the 6th time, the problem of minimum player level and vendor items. I assume this time it is by COINCIDENCE ALONE that a LOW level character can see and buy equippable items from the vendor (ilvl 86 for a level 20). This wasn’t the case for previous timewalking events which still had hidden higher level requirement of 30+ to buy stuff. As the same level 20 character I simply couldn’t see or buy armor from any of the other timewalking vendors except for the classic-era one. This makes no sense because TW is available as early as from level 10.
Need I mention how frustrating it is to receive a mount such as deathcharger or timereaver on a twink character, since these reins usually have a high 27+ lvl requirement. Drop these requirement to 10 already and do the same for TW vendor mounts as well.
tldr; if you take a better look you’ll be able to acquire cool nightborne themed weapons for 1/10th of the price found on the first pages of the vendor
