Can we stop treating all dungeons as m+ please…
Stop this with skipping everything, its easier killing 3 trash mobs rather than die to either falling of a steep edge or pulling accidentally and being left behind.
I always try to help and fight along whoever pulled but tanks seem keen on leaving people die just because they want to go go go.Being nice and patient doesnt cost a thing.
Not everyone knows ur strats or skips and its easier killing than making a bad skip.Tyvm
It is adapt or die pretty much.
I think the rush rush mentality is dumb as well.
But that is how the game is nowdays
One of my fondest memories in Wow is from almost 10 years ago when I started playing…I died in a dungeon and one of the other players came back to start and guided me to the boss where we were at cause I was new and didn’t know the dungeon…it was so heartwarming getting help when needed.Well guess times change indeed.
Well not everyone has all day for 5 dungeons (Even though Time walking is one of my favourite things in WoW). So they want it done as fast as possible which I understand especially if they do only one dungeon for 500 badges. I also hate all the trash and skip as much as possible. But communicating with the group is important.
People do it for the quest.
As always blizz try to lure players that do not want to be there and this happens.
I hate the skipping mindset…should stick to m+ cause timer but its not healthy there either. Why play a game if there is no time to actually play it?insert head exploding emote
Because I find the skipping the most fun part of all. How many Time walking dungeons can I speed run and I noticed most of the time people are fine with my thinking because they want it just finished. That is why I like to play with priest, warlock, rogue, warrior, Demon hunter, druid as they make it easier.
There is no comunicating…I am usually the only one saying ty at end…There is a "treat the other as an npc "kinda vibe going on…
Everyone is selfish…

Forcing people in content never worked. Look at the people that farm crests in m+11 and people that just do 5 tw dungeons because they need to in order to get the quest done.
Even if I have never seen anyone trying to skip anything because the mobs tend to just die within 5 seconds I can totally understand that they just want to get it done as fast as possible.
People that just want to play and chill are in the clear minority at the start of the week because certainly 90% of people queuing are doing it because they want to complete the quest.
For me timewalking is boring and doesn’t add anything exciting to the game, so I just want to do it as fast as possible to get it done.
You certainly need more social competence to create a functioning m+ group than pressing 1 button to join lfr or normal/hc dungeons.
Like wdym. I can enjoy the game, make friends along the way and still try to compete with in high tier m+ keys.
The problem is that people with different interests are forced into one type of content, which is just not going to work. But somehow blizzard can’t understand that simple fact.
If you just want to chill thats fine but you can’t expect other people to play like you want to do it yourself. That goes vice versa of course. Thats exactly why forcing people to play timewalking is garbage.
No you don’t.I have been in m+ enough times to see the same thing…not one word unless someone makes a mistake and is flamed…stop trying to belittle people that only enjoy queueable content please.
I don’t but if you want to tell me that pressing 1 button is more social engagement than forming a group by hand then I can’t take that seriously.
I’ve seen both, completely normal and nice social interactions in normal/hc dungeons and also in high m+ groups.
You can’t say that all people playing m+ are socially incompetent and all people that “chill” are super duper nice guys. How is that even remotely accurate?
Read my second post…that was in a queueable dungeon…
Both can happen but lets not pretend m+ are such amazing smart and nice people and queue are bad and unsocial.
Both have bad apples…but m+ has more of the bad ones cause of the rush mentality.
I dunno why the game treats solos/solo casuals as last class citizens…this mentality has to end for the good of the game.
What does this look like to you, genuine question. What has to change
The mentality…the systems…gearing…leveling…there should be options for everyone to get where they want to… however they choose and maybe then different people wont clash anymore.
Where do you want to get to?
I generally do agree though that most of player friction is caused by a mismatch of expectations, and a lot of that comes from players who don’t need / don’t enjoy certain content being incentivised to do it by one off rewards that offer more than the content typically does.
Never said that. But that:
is just not whats going on.
It really depends where you play. You get the most negative responses in the upper mid tier because the people there think there are gods and play so good but actually are just slightly above average where in really high keys people are close to never toxic because you tend to play with the same people over and over and you would not be able to play anymore and won’t be invited if you would start to flame.
There are tho. I think you can do more diverse content than basically ever. In BC you could do absolutely nothing besides Raid to gear in PvE. Raiding had the only good gear. Look what you have now. You can do Worldquests to get 437gs items. You can do raid, m+, just the mainquest, timewalking even gives upgradable items. There is also crafting.
I mean what do you want more. Like I get that the systems are not perfect and can certainly be improved but it was far worse in the past, far worse.
Also I’ve read your second post I would bet that if you would ask for advice or help to get whereever and you would not be in m+ where you literally have a timelimit, people would help you most of the time. It’s not like people just hate everyone but m+ is simply the wrong environment to ask where you should go and where what boss is.
On this particular post I wanted to adress the fact that timewalking was not enjoyable because of the rushing tanks.Mostly trying to plead for more patience because this is timewalking not M+.Imagine a new player dealing with this…If I d start playing now for the first time,I wouldnt stick around.
My friend and I did the five dungeons yesterday for the weekly quest and the some poor tanks couldn’t hold aggro to either of us.
Then in the next one we had a player decked out in a load of TW specific gear that slaps and everything melted even faster.
Thats because WoW is not made for new players. I recently talked with my friend about exactly how I would feel in the current state of endgame if I was a new player, I would guarantee you, that I would leave in a span of a week.
It’s just way to complicated. You need to look up guides so often because the adventure guide is just not really doing its job. You need to download 100 addons just to play endgame. Why do you wan’t to do that.
You would really just do it if you have friends or family that are playing the game and you want to play with them.
