Tips for gearing up

Draenei warrior, arms. Gonna do mostly PvP and occasionally PVE.

Do BGs and get deadly set for honor with s7 off pieces.

First things first:

ARENA 2v2

Find an Discipline Priest or a Holy Paladin buddy with similar Arena Experience as you and start doing 2v2 Arena. There is no need to create ‘a team’ anymore, you can just do Arena.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 win per week
• 10 games per week

You’ll get a currency called ‘Arena Points’, if you visit the ‘Dalaran Sewers’ you’ll find the Arena Vendors, some of the gear they sell doesn’t require you to have ‘Arena Rating’ some pieces are easily obtainable because the rating requirements are fairly low (Boots & Belt)

You need to do this every week, because there is a maximum amount you can get per week, every week you ‘skip’ Arena, you’ll lack gear. Even if you’re not good at it, you still should get your 10 games because the ‘Arena Gear’ is amazing.

Battlegrounds / Wintergrasp

Wintergrasp is a Northrend zone where 120 Alliance fights 120 Horde (exceptions aside) the person that let’s you enter Wintergrasp is in Dalaran, the area that has all the PvP and PvE Portals.

Every 3 hours you can queue for that. At 06 AM / 09 AM / 12 Noon / 15 PM / 18 PM / 21 PM / 12 Midnight / 3 AM (these are Server Times, right click your ‘clock’ on the minimap at the top right of your screen to verify the server time if needed)

Wintergrasp gives you the most Honor per time spent and is absolute worth doing. There are also weekly quests there (kill 10 Horde, destroy a tower, get a win, etc) that gives you a bunch of Honor, Gold and Stone Keeper’s Shards

Wintergrasp Wins and Losses will give you Mark of Honor that’s together with Stone Keeper’s Shards a currency to buy iLvl 245 PvP Gear, PvP Meta gems etc

Vault of Archavon 10 & 25M

Do this raid every week on both 10 and 25 the bosses there has a chance of dropping the latest set-items from Arena (Gloves & Legs) and several off-set PvP items. There are 3 bosses in there, each boss drops gear related to their respective PvP Season.

Archavon > Season 1 Gear
Emalon > Season 2 Gear
Koralon (New boss next week) > Season 3 Gear

Last but not least, in Stormwind, Capital City of the Humans in the Old Town District you’ll find the ‘Hall of Champions’ that has vendors that sell PvP gear for Honor Points or Arena Points.

Find these vendors ingame, and do these abovementioned things and you’ll be geared within 2-3 weeks!

Thanks yo, I actually have almost full deadly set now, in just two days.

I wanted to get into a TOGC-10 normal with that gear, but it wasn’t enough.

I could go Naxx but I am kinda doubtful its actually an upgrade over Deadly pvp gear.

Ulduar is already asking insane Gearscore. Not that I have the addon, but I doubt I will make it with PVP gear.
