There is clearly a step up in the skill level past Rival in competition, which is exciting, fun and gets me sweatin, but I’ve still got a lot to learn.
Currently at ~1900cr in 2s/3s. Climbing slowly through the LFG system, making friends along the way.
Finding it tricky being in the 1.9 bracket with no achievements or many contacts as this is my first pvp season. Haven’t quite got the sexy “2k+ exp” so finding games is tough and one poor game, I’m bombarded with hate in the whisper window
Any tips for pushing for that sweet Duelist 2.1k?

Use focus / 123 macros if you haven’t yet
Use voice coms
Keep playing spamming arena.
Edit - keep track of cooldown timers bursts / trinkets
Practise on when to kick and when to save kick for pressure.
Work on LoS, are you in a safe position?
I mean arena is pretty trash right now as well, so are rbgs.
That anybody plays the slog that are rbgs is already an achievement by itself. They also only do it for gear.
most of them probably bought it for 200 eur as well, so if you talk about this “fair play”. arena rmt boosts seem to be cheaper though
wouldn’t be surprising as arena is a complete different game play and everything is sudden death while rbgs are not.
For example I play like 5 billion times better 2s than I do 3s, because 3s are so much different than 2s.
Also I played much more 2s than 3s, which also explains why i suck at 3s nowadays =)
i m pretty solid in rbgs too, or at least was when I played them, but wasn’t so good at arena because I didn’t really play much.
in the end it is all about practice, but sure in a rbg you can get carried easier by 9 better people without paying them just because you fly under the radar.
Hahaha that post made me laugh. That sh it is soo true. So many people stuck on 1200cr and get 2.1 for free in rbg cuz of rsting increase and no rating loss. What ajoke. Imagine people flexing gear on you in arena and win by rbg lol
In other words: people get boosted. Yea. Newsflash. I mean, if you play against teams around the same MMR and lose you do lose rating or don’t gain 130 if you win.
